Today in a discussion at work I was seen as the crazy person because I wear pants underneath my pajamas... is this unusual or are my colleagues winding me up?

Why wouldn't you wear pants? I don't want to wash my pajamas every day, I don't find pants uncomfortable to sleep in.

sergeilavrov · 04/06/2019 13:33

I wear a full underwear set underneath my pyjamas. I didn't know people didn't wear knickers at least! I'd feel a bit... exposed I guess? Sounds like a fun day at work anyway!

JessieTalamasca · 04/06/2019 13:39

I wear pants under PJs.

DaisyEmma · 04/06/2019 13:40

Yeah definitely wear pants. - surely equals less washing. Same ones I wore that day then fresh in the morning. Don't need to wash pyjamas as often imo.

Drogosnextwife · 04/06/2019 13:40

Just go pants free all the time, it's great.

userxx · 04/06/2019 13:41

No way to pants in bed. Yuk. Completely naked is the best nights sleep ever.

notso · 04/06/2019 13:52

No pants unless I'm on my period.
I don't really wear pyjamas in bed either.

notso · 04/06/2019 13:55

Same ones I wore that day then fresh in the morning.

I'd feel grim wearing the same pants for 24 hours.

Blondebakingmumma · 04/06/2019 14:25

Yes, I wear underwear under my pjs. For those who don’t, how often do you wash your pjs? After one wear?

Blondebakingmumma · 04/06/2019 14:26

For those who sleep naked, so you wash your sheets every day?

ncqtime · 04/06/2019 14:28

Used to be of the 'let the vag air' mindset but that was before worms struck our house. Now it's pants all the way

userxx · 04/06/2019 14:28

Why would I need to wash my sheets every day?

MonstranceClock · 04/06/2019 14:30

No pants, thats weird. And no I dont change my pyjamas every day, how filthy are you people??

BobbyBrewstersMagicTorch · 04/06/2019 14:32

Are you in America? I only ask because of your choice of spellings, so wondered whether it's more of thing there than in the UK?

MayFayner · 04/06/2019 14:38

Pants mean trousers in America bobby so that would throw a whole different spin on the matter entirely 😂

Personally I wear pants sometimes, and sometimes not. I refuse to be shackled to any kind of pants rule!

bellinisurge · 04/06/2019 14:41

Do you mean knickers?
All females in our house have bedtime knickers, new each night to wear with whatever T shirt , nighty or pj we are wearing.

MonstranceClock · 04/06/2019 14:44

Why just the females?

Megan2018 · 04/06/2019 14:46

I have so much discharge (been tested - entirely normal for me) I always need knickers on - I literally leave a slime trail if not (and now pregnant it is even worse).

I usually take PJ bottoms off at night though as get too hot so just sleep in knickers and top.

Reallybadidea · 04/06/2019 14:51

The 'airing your vagina' thing doesn't make much sense to me. How much air flow is really going on under a duvet and with pyjamas on, regardless of having knickers on or off?

BlueSkiesLies · 04/06/2019 14:53

Nope. You need to air yourself out :-)

BigDamnHero · 04/06/2019 15:15

I always wear pants with pjs! The thought of seams in my nethers makes me shudder.

Yeah, same here. I can't not wear pants without discomfort.

bellinisurge · 04/06/2019 15:40

@MonstranceClock , I only have a daughter. My dh can look after himself

PurpleDaisies · 04/06/2019 15:41

I wear pants over pyjamas.

Thissideof40 · 04/06/2019 19:32

I wear pants under my pjs. Always have and feels weird not to. Plus I can’t be doing with changing my pjs every night which you’d have to if not wearing pants.

Biancadelrioisback · 04/06/2019 19:36

I wear a nightgown like an absolute old lady. I like the breeze
