Savoury spread?

I love marmite. I have also discovered peanut butter later in life (all those missed years...!), however I'm looking to try something different - particularly on toast, for breakfast. Can anyone recommend an alternative that I might have missed!!

Bourbon. Although you reek for hours afterwards maybe only if you eat the whole pack like me

I love Gentleman's Relish! I've only seen it in Sainsburys, but imagine it's sold in Waitrose, too. Just a warning - spread it very thinly.

Marmite with strawberry jam on top on crumpets or toast!

Beef paste and very thin sliced onion or pickle .

• Houmous (especially caramelised onion) with fresh tomato salsa
• smashed avocado with a little lemon or lime juice plus a poached egg
• smoked salmon stirred through softly scrambled eggs
• sautéed sliced chestnut mushrooms cooked in a little oil and butter with balsamic vinegar drizzled in for the last 5mins
• flaked smoked mackerel with caper sauce and a little horseradish sauce mixed
• eggs scrambled with pulled ham hock and sweetcorn cooked through it
