What foods are like "crack" to you?

For me it's peanuts. Any nuts really but salted KPs in particular, I literally cannot stop eating them once I get going. I have to ration them to weekends only.

And tiger bread. I could stand at the kitchen side with a bread knife and some butter and make serious headway in eating a whole loaf if I let myself.

What foods are like this for you?

Crisps especially walkers I could literally eat them at any given time of day oh God am off to get a packet now 😂

Mustbetimeforachange · 12/05/2019 20:35

I've just remembered. Cheetos. Proper crunchy American ones. Dangerous.

thethethethethe · 12/05/2019 20:35

Freshly squeezed orange juice.

Gigis · 12/05/2019 20:36

Biscuits. Any type, really. NOT those nutrigrain soft bake fruit paste filled ones though.

greatandpowerfulozma · 12/05/2019 20:37

Pretty much any breakfast cereal. I could eat boxes and boxes of honey nut loops. I eat them till I run out of milk. Then go out to get more milk and carry on. Blush

Minkies11 · 12/05/2019 20:37

Wotsits
Beef Space Raiders especially the big £1 packets
Those funny shaped tiny cheese biscuits you get at Xmas.
Thankfully I have none of these in the house at the moment because I'm feeling peckish.....

Iamblossom · 12/05/2019 20:37

I do like a biscuit.

Chocolate brazils I never buy them

Scoleah · 12/05/2019 20:38

Beef Hula Hoops.
Twiglets

Chociefish · 12/05/2019 20:40

Cheese, maltesers and coffee ice-cream. Try to limit having coffee ice-cream in the house as I just can't resist!!

WindyWindyWindy · 12/05/2019 20:43

Chocolate tea cakes, the ones with the bit of jam in the middle.
Those soft mallow and coconut biscuits.
If either of these are in the vicinity I HAVE to eat them...all...immediately. No wonder I have have a figure to rival that of Humpty Dumpty.

Inforapenny65 · 12/05/2019 20:45

Marmite Crisps!

Happynow001 · 12/05/2019 20:45

Home roasted cashew nuts served almost straight out of the oven, with raisins and a good thick plain yoghurt and dark agave nectar. I tend not to buy them now as a large bag lasts me no time at all.

Impatientwino · 12/05/2019 20:47

Chorizo
Marinated artichokes
White wine
Really hot salty skinny fries
Halloumi
Chocolate hob nobs
Walkers lime and coriander poppadoms

A good friend of mine makes Hestons scotch eggs (essentially a quails egg centre and really good quality sausage meat) She made them for us one evening and I honestly cannot remember how many we ate but oh my it was a lot. I could eat them until I was sick I think! See below!!

Jaffa cakes
Those sweet chilli Sensations crisps
Malteasers - if my DDs get me a box for Mother's Day, I can't rest until I've eaten the whole box.

TwittleBee · 12/05/2019 20:51

Homemade bread with lurpak
Sweets, especially skittles
Prawn crackers

Moominfan · 12/05/2019 20:53

Rowntrees randoms are gold tier gelatine sweets. Not had any since Christmas. Will easy eat an entire bag

LaPufalina · 12/05/2019 20:56

Mini eggs (I had to join weight watchers in 2009 after eating a bag a day Blush)
M&S millionaire bites are ridiculously moreish
Sour cream and chive pretzels or Thai sweet chilli crisps and creamy dip with white wine
Marmite and cream cheese toasted sesame bagels (or just toast if I run out). Reckon I could win an eating championship of those.
The new Nutella b-ready bars with extra Nutella
I'm going to have to stop having some of these in the house when I stop breastfeeding as that's burning the excess calories at the moment!

MatchSetPoint · 12/05/2019 20:57

Chocolate

ignatiusjreilly · 12/05/2019 21:02

Lotus Biscoff Spread (preferably the smooth version). Eaten straight from the jar with a spoon. Crack in a jar.

Also, Haagen Dazs Chocolate Salted Caramel ice cream. Equally dangerous to have in the house.

Iwantacookie · 12/05/2019 21:05

Chips from the chip shop slightly cooled with extra salt.
If the wind blows right I can smell our local chippy.

BlackPrism · 12/05/2019 21:05

Ramen noodles/ pot noodles - could eat every pack in the house.

Guacamole

MiraculousMarinette · 12/05/2019 21:06

Berries, any. I can't open a punnet and have just a few. Every time I inevitably eat them all. Also grapes, satsumas, melon and watermelon.

Smoked fish, especially cold smoked salmon.

Aimily · 12/05/2019 21:08

Strawberry jam on toast, I can never just have 2 slices, I could happily eat half a loaf of sainsburys fresh seeded batch and it HAS to be doorstop slices.

Pinkarsedfly · 12/05/2019 21:09

Sainsbury’s Basics Tortilla Chips.
Poppadums.
Sesame snaps.
Salted almonds.

Basically if it’s crunchy and salty and carby I’m all over it.
