I'm taking food.

For example, I'm yet to find a decent alternative to Quavers. Supermarket brands are crap!

Ditto Marmite

OP posts:

Tesco Ketchup is much nicer than Heinz, and Waitrose own brand beans. Not a fan of Heinz since they changed it all some time back, but only buy Heinz salad cream.

There is some Wilkinsons (I think) ketchup in the house, it is not mine but am told it is very much better than any other.

shutupyoueejit · 29/04/2019 23:14

Anchor butter
Heinz ketchup (used to be beans also but they changed and now wouldn't have anything other than aldi!)
Warburton's crumpets
Diet Coke

MoonriseKingdom · 29/04/2019 23:15

Not exactly a food but I consumed a heck of a lot of Gaviscon while pregnant. Tried Boots brand version on one occasion and was awful.

Frank Cooper’s vintage marmalade - someone else mentioned it up thread. It’s the nearest I’ve found to the marmalade my grandma used to make.

Heinz beans
Coca Cola

LorelaiRoryEmily · 29/04/2019 23:19

@Fluffysocks123 corale beans from aldi. Way nicer than Heinz. €1.38 for a 4 pack. Lovely thick sauce. I can’t bear Heinz since I found them, they’re sweet and watery in comparison

Vinorosso74 · 29/04/2019 23:24

Has to be Heinz ketchup and beans here. Am not too fussed on sticking to other brands.

MrsGface · 29/04/2019 23:27

Going to try both of these ... my dd goes through ketchup and beans so quickly so I'll try anything hahah Thanks

MooBaaLaLaLa · 29/04/2019 23:40

Birdseye peas.
I thought peas were peas and bought own brand ones, not nearly as good. We always get the Birdseye ones as our luxury product. So sad! Blush

heatherblue · 29/04/2019 23:41

Kerrygold butter
Hellmans mayo
Heinz beans
Waitrose loose leaf Assam tea.
All non-negotiable.

MollyYouInDangerGirl · 29/04/2019 23:42

Beans! I cant even eat Heinz beans anymore, has to be branston! Anything else tastes tasteless!
