Silence. Martin Scorsese film with Andrew Garfield, Adam Driver and Liam Neeson. Had assumed it would be good with these people involved but was very very wrong. DH wanted to leave but I said we had to stay to the end to experience the full misery of the film

Oh it was a snorefest, wasn’t it? Went on for about 5 hours. We had a rare night off from DC and actually went to the cinema to see this (I should have insisted on the easy going Tom Hanks film that was an alternative, but DH was adamant that we see this one!). It was probably the first time in my life I had fallen asleep sitting upright, rather than in darkness, silence and bed.
