I think it was called Open Water (called Adrift in the US). About a couple who go group diving in the sea and get left behind by the tour company. Greatest load of shite!

exLtEveDallas · 25/04/2019 11:31

Blair Witch Project - so much hype (we even went to the special - and expensive - Halloween midnight showing) and all for nothing. Total toss, and made me feel seasick to boot (and lots of people felt the same, there was an angry queue demanding their money back when we got out of the screening).

Spice Girls movie - oh my eyes (disclaimer, I only went to take my DNeice who was a huge fan)

cushioncovers · 25/04/2019 11:36

The Stuart Little movies. My kids loved them when they were small and so I had to sit through them countless times. I could have cried. 😩

outpinked · 25/04/2019 11:43

I had an awful ex in my younger years who made me endure the Alien movies, terrible.

The Godfather 3 is pretty awful.

MissCharleyP · 25/04/2019 11:45

Meet Joe Black - I thought it would never end.

FFSeverynameisused · 27/04/2019 20:07

YES to the blair witch project

Mouse trap was the worse

The notebook - booooooring

HeadsDownThumbsUpEveryone · 27/04/2019 20:10

RED SPARROW.

I have never been so fucked off at paying for a ticket at the cinema in my entire life. The trailers made it look intriguing the reality was 2 hours 21 minutes of nudity, torture and more nudity. I'm no prude but it was just so unnecessary.

FamilyOhNo · 27/04/2019 20:11

Lobster with Colin Farrell

OMG it was just awful .......

Mrsjayy · 27/04/2019 20:14

Black Swan was pretentious shit I was so angry about it I started a thread !

SUICIDE SQUAD oh dearie me a bottle of wine couldn't save it for me.

sodabreadjam · 27/04/2019 20:15

Sex and the City 2. I knew I wouldn't like it. I don't know why I allowed myself to be talked into going to see it. I absolutely hate the whole fashion, makeup, shopping thing.

Afonavon · 27/04/2019 20:20

The new Hellboy was THE worst film I have ever seen. We left the cinema angry that we’d wasted out time and money on utter shite.

redexpat · 27/04/2019 20:35

Matchpoint.

Freaking0ut · 27/04/2019 20:40

The Holiday. Dreadful.

GrumpyMoo · 27/04/2019 20:41

Too many!! We watch a LOT of films...

But for the cinema...

Furry Vengance.
Stayed cos we hoped it would get better. It didn't.

And then lately Colette.
We actually left the cinema after about an hour... the completely empty cinema, but for us! Trawled about hoping to find a screen with a good film on... Aquaman - nope... Then there was a film about a man in a wheelchair - very uninspiring... also The Favourite - yawn... so we came home and watched a brilliant film called The Brand New Testament.

Bananasandchocolatecustard · 27/04/2019 20:45

Mandy. Nicholas Cage and his limited range of faces. Religious nutters, then it transformed into a slasher/bloodiest. I left the cinema. It was in an “art centre “ complete with film notes.

Squickety · 27/04/2019 20:49

Constantine. 2 hours of my life I'll never get back

Ragwort · 27/04/2019 20:51

Agree with a PP ‘Mother’ was beyond awful ... and didn’t it get some rave reviews? Hmm.

Squickety · 27/04/2019 20:53

user1539506092 I was thinking about watching it the other night then noticed it had a 3.something rating on IMDB...it had to be pretty dire to score that low!

Whizzler · 27/04/2019 20:58

All Darren Aronofsky films are crap.

HippyChickMama · 27/04/2019 20:59

Cruel Intentions. Utter tripe.

SianyLou11 · 27/04/2019 21:00

Vanilla Sky
The Thin Red Line
Revolutionary Road

EvilDog · 27/04/2019 21:01

Happy Gilmore 😖 biggest pile of predictable shite I’ve ever seen.

Thomas and the magic railroad. Ds fave when he was younger. Watched it almost evvvery bloody day for 2/3 years 😭😭😭

BummyKnocker · 27/04/2019 21:02

Happy Feet. DD1 loved it. She loved it many, many times.

I had to hide the DVD and I'm not normally a cruel person.

BummyKnocker · 27/04/2019 21:04

@Thisisthelaststraw

Is that the one where only one is left...... then the boat comes looking too late, that haunted me for a long time!

Mendeleyev · 27/04/2019 21:05

Spy Kids 4D. Tried to sleep through it but the kids kept waking me up to do the next scratch and sniff.
