Two choices for me
Wimbledon
Shrek 3

And actually there's a really powerful line in there - when the teacher says "what has welfare done for your mother?" And you think about this violent angry woman in a flat watching jeopardy and of course it's done nothing.

SCST01 · 27/04/2019 22:18

Blair Witch Project - I couldn't muster up enough interest in any of the characters to give a shiny shit what happened to them.

Prospero's Books - headache-inducing wind soundtrack throughout and unintelligible plot, and at two particularly show points people got up thinking (hoping) it had finished and had to sit down again to endure the rest.

MrJollyLivesNextDoor · 27/04/2019 22:20

AI

It went on and on and on and on and Zzzzzz

madeyemoodysmum · 27/04/2019 22:20

Bloody chipmunk shit

Redshoeblueshoe · 27/04/2019 22:22

Iron Sky it's about Nazis on the moon.
But DH is watching some absolute crap on C4 now, I don't know or care to know what it's called Grin

Redshoeblueshoe · 27/04/2019 22:24

Ok he's watching Ghost in the Shell.
OMG it's really bad

NoMoreMarbles · 27/04/2019 22:26

@powershowerforanhour I couldn't remember its name but YES! Worst film!

Also, Knowing was so so bad! I watched it all with a ShockHmmConfused type expression on my face throughout!

saganorenscarandcoat · 27/04/2019 22:27

Frozen
All Star Wars
BFG
Anything involving those fucking chipmunks
Inside Out

Bluestitch · 27/04/2019 22:27

God yes A.I. was so long and shit. I saw it at the cinema and people actually started heckling.

GlitterPixie · 27/04/2019 22:27

Vox Lux with Natalie Portman it’s really truly staggeringly awful

AnnaMagnani · 27/04/2019 22:28

I always say AI on these threads and am always gratified that other people do.

Now I can add La La Land. A musical with barely a dance scene in it, to cover up the fact they cast 2 leads who can't sing or dance. Plus there is a white man jazzplaining in it to a black guy. It's grim.

tardyheart · 27/04/2019 22:32

Rush hour 2-
40 Days and 40 Nights
Boss Baby
Knight & Day, (?) The terrible Tom Cruise & Cameron Diaz film

Con Air is so so bad it's actually good. I think some go full circle. I'd put The Holiday in that section, and 50 First Dates.

DP likes war films which I hate, so to me they are bad- but that's my taste in films.

Crunchymum · 27/04/2019 22:38

Collateral
Boomdock Saints

Awful.

Also once watched Shutter Island on a 4th date (took my overnight bag wink, wink but ended up so fucking deflated after the film we went to bed without shagging!!)

Not sure about ever, but in the last year or two - La La Land. I really didn’t get the hype.

AnnaMagnani · 27/04/2019 22:51

Which end scene in AI? There were so many!

Forrest Gump was also awful though. I was stuck in the cinema with my uni mates who thought it was amazing and I wanted to walk out as I thought it was manipulative garbage.

justforareply · 27/04/2019 22:53

La La Land
But even worse was Eyes Wide Shut

PunkrockerGirl59 · 27/04/2019 22:55

Mama Mia (embarrassing for the entire cast)
Girl on a train - badly acted, couldn't have cared less about the outcome. Have seen many better amdram productions.I
Marley and me. I'd have had the little fucker rehomed.

Notsogoldilocks · 27/04/2019 23:14

By far, it has to be Mother!

I went to see it with my man for our first date in MONTHS since becoming parents, and all we did afterwards was sit in disbelief at what we’d just seen.

UnPocoLoco2 · 27/04/2019 23:16

I haven't watched most recent movies but I really do hate-
. The mighty ducks
. Blade runner
. Any of the barbie movies
. Shopkins movies
. Stardust
. That stupid movie about the Easter bunny my son goes bonkers for. I think it plays drums
.the secret life of pets
.morph ( it's not a movie but I still hate. It)
.howard the duck
Spider-Man
. Harry Potter and the half blood prince

There's others but that probably enough for now 🤪

Cupcake4u · 27/04/2019 23:16

My and my husband were so confused by that , we had to yotube an explanation . Basically Jennifer is mother earth and her husband is God and everything In it represents biblical things , Adam and Eve Kain and able and jesus .

After that it all made sense , I wpuldnt watch it again but I would have liked a small meaning behind it .

Samcro · 27/04/2019 23:21

i once took ds to see a film (years ago he is now an adult) and their was a film with Pikachu in it . speaking Pikachu
it was dire

Motheroffeminists · 27/04/2019 23:21

@FamilyOhNo I agree. I watched it on Valentine's Day last year and it was the biggest load of shite ever. Was a really shite Valentine's too.

Osquito · 27/04/2019 23:24

There have been a few but I remember going on a date to see The Green Lantern (Ryan Reynolds?) and us going from confusion to disbelief to dawning realisation that, yes, it was that awful to quietly crying with laughter... Just SO SO SO bad.

Awwlookatmybabyspider · 27/04/2019 23:24

Pet Semetary 2. Just a film I can't take to. I like the first one.
