Almost a roast. BBQ leg of spiced lamb with garlic bread, salad and new potatoes. Just put the coals on...

Everytimeref · 21/04/2019 16:07

Just cooked roast lamb for 12, whilst suffering with Labyrinthitis!

JollyAndBright · 21/04/2019 16:12

We are having a roast and I can’t wait, it smells incredible...... even if the kitchen is hotter than the sun atm.

Warmhandscoldheart · 21/04/2019 16:12

Hubby cooked roast chicken with all the usual trimmings and now he's washing up while I watch rugby on TV 😂

ShannonRockallMalin · 21/04/2019 16:45

Nope, we've had a barbecue, followed by a water fight!

fussychica · 21/04/2019 16:48

Yes. Roast beef, corner cut and all the trimmings. I'm looking forward to it but we dont eat until about 8pm. It better be as lovely as it looks.

Pascha · 21/04/2019 16:49

No we went out earlier and had hot dogs at the seaside. Might have a bit of toast later.

We had roast lamb on friday at PILs.

Mitsouko67 · 21/04/2019 16:53

We had lunch in a nice pub on the lakeshore. Would definitely do a roast if at home but we usually go away at Easter. Away on a short break in a small cottage with basic kitchen. That's my excuse anyway! !

DameDiazepamTheDramaQueen · 21/04/2019 16:54

Lamb in the oven and just doing the potatoes now, well eat in the garden if it's still warm enough.

Doje · 21/04/2019 17:00

We've got roast lamb leftovers from Friday. I don't fancy a roast, but can't bear to waste his food.

Doje · 21/04/2019 17:01

Good food.

SetPhasersTaeMalkie · 21/04/2019 17:01

We had roast beef at lunchtime. And then sticky toffee pudding. I'm so full I can't eat any of the chocolate I've been denying myself during Lent!!

Anyway, it was lovely but probably it's too warm now for a roast.

ToEarlyForDecorations · 21/04/2019 17:06

Yep. Oven on and heating up ready to cook the chicken I'll be roasting. Yum yum. Oh, and for the haters: nom, nom, nom.

PlumCakeChica · 21/04/2019 17:08

Roast salmon, potatoes and veggies here. I’m getting dh to turn the pots and check salmon whilst I sip rose in the shade Wink

UsernameTaken76 · 21/04/2019 17:09

No we bbq’d half a leg of lamb & chicken and served with a green salad, tomato & mozzarella with basil salad and coleslaw oh and bbq’d spring onions & asparagus bunches wrapped in bacon.

Dessert was G&T cheesecake or peach Melba pavlova

PJLove80 · 21/04/2019 17:10

Some of these dinners sound amazing, I usually love a roast but lose my appetite when it’s so hot!

Mum cooked a huge leg of lamb and all the roast trimmings ... 11 of us sitting in garden to eat.... in the shade and lovely 😊

ElloBrian · 21/04/2019 17:18

We’re having roast chicken and for once I’m not cooking - wahey!

quirkychick · 21/04/2019 17:22

We've had lunch at a beach café and I have slow cooked lamb which I'll do with new potatoes and salad. We changed the plan from a roast. We have a chocolate Easter cake for dessert.

Motheroffeminists · 21/04/2019 17:26

Brexit stash frozen homemade macaroni cheese with peas and sweet corn. We did Easter last weekend and had fake chicken and mushroom pie with roast potatoes, roast carrots, broccoli, peas, and Yorkshire puddings.

Scoose · 21/04/2019 17:31

We're having a roast but I got a turkey crown instead of lamb I've also made a strawberry pavlova for pudding

lucysmam · 21/04/2019 17:39

We've just had slow cooked gammon with roast baby potatoes and cauliflower cheese.

I'd planned for the week last week & dd2's choice was a roast today. Had I realised it'd be so warm, I'd have planned for salad rather than roasts and cauli-cheese.

FiveGoMadInDorset · 21/04/2019 17:41

Having ours tomorrow evening when we go to DM'S, steak, jacket potatoes and salad tonight

Rockbird · 21/04/2019 17:42

Yes but we went out for it. Now back home with tea and strawberry lindors.

MrsMozartMkII · 21/04/2019 17:45

Salad for lunch.

Easter egg for mid-afternoon munchies.

Fry-up for dinner Grin

We had our Easter roast on Friday when our DDs came over.
