Just wishing the lovely Duchess of Cambridge all the best with her labour. I can’t imagine how it must be - I was irked enough with my lively MIL phoning to see if I had any twinges. Can’t imagine what it must be like with the worlds press awaiting news. Hope it goes well and it won’t be long before your darling baby is in your arms. And, oh, if s/he has arrived already - you’ve played a blinder doing it on your terms!
And Harry, don’t faint!

Unless you are actually doing something for poor women without medical help, grumping on the internet about someone more fortunate isn't exactly contributing to the sum of human happiness, is it?

Well if she has given birth and was planing to wait til tomorrow to announce it, she's been upstaged by a burning cathedral.

THEY WILL ANNOUNCE WHEN SHE IS IN LABOUR, THE SAME WAY THEY DID WITH KATE. FFS!

Given the way she always looks for a camera and appears to crave publicity, I don't expect we'll be hearing an annoucement until there is a bit of room on the front pages.

Wait...isn't she the royal NOT standing in from of dozens of cameras and who is keeping the birth private?

Some of us are doing just that, instead of concerning ourselves with the 'sum of human happiness' Hmm

But even if they weren't, it's no odds at all that they're not gushing over someone they don't know who is pregnant because their 'royal' or have 3 eyes or whatever.

In fairness to the OP I remember you couldn’t move for sycophantic BS on here the first time the other one was about to give birth. The prevailing mood about the royals has shifted I think. Recent coverage of that crazy coot overturning his Range Rover another example.
I don’t think, once lizzie’s gone, they’ll be around much longer.

They obviously won't do this because she's made clear that she wants it done privately and wants to control the media photo op so she's not under pressure to pitch up looking marvellous.

Your naivety is really shocking. No. She's the royal who is treating her position like a celebrity cash-cow. She is not keeping the birth private. She is just completely controlling how and when this is revealed on her terms.

TBH personally I wouldn't be surprised if she sold photos to Hello/OK on the basis of the fee being a charitable donation.
