When did you first find grey hairs?

Turned 43 last week and literally noticed 6 or so grey hairs appear in the last 3 weeks- had dyed hair since I was 14 and growing out blonde and left with very fucking dull mousey hair - I know I've lucky with no greys until now but shit, they are multiplying rapidly!

Did your grey hairs appear overnight?

Found my first 2 weeks before I was 20. You've done really well.

Around 27.
Probably 25% grey now at 41.
I dye it.

I have mid brown hair and found my first grey when I was 49. I am now 52 and still only have a handful
My daughter is 24 and has dark brown hair and lots of grey ones. She takes after her Dad’s side of the family who were all grey by the time they were 30 and white by the time they were 40.
She hates it!

26! Started a new stressful job and they started appearing then! I have dark brown hair

19. I'm 46 and have mostly white hair with a platinum bit at the back

I got them in my early 20s and my 15 year old son has got a clump of grey at the back of his head already. You've done really well to get to 43!

Noticed my first few, all in my fringe, at 21.

I found one or two from late 20s but got loads during pregnancy aged 32. Might have been a coincidence of course

When I was 12. I started dying it at 13, stopped dying it at 27 and now at 28 have quite a few but I think they actually look quite nice as it's just the odd sparkly strand.

It's coming in thick and fast now though and expect to be almost completely grey by 35 or so

About 25, 30 now and got quite a bit of grey hair.

About 24. Literally right at the front, shiny glittery silver it was like a bloody beacon.

I'm 39 and I'm beginning to notice some, well white actually rather than grey, hair now.

Mid 40s. Also a few random black ones (I’ve got red hair)! A few years down the line and I’ve still not got many grey hairs but I think that’s a red haired thing.

Im 37 and dont have any yet. Both parents went grey pretty late in life so i reckon ill be similar.

Ohhhh dad died when he was mid 70s and still had black hair (and it wasn’t dyed - we checked). Not sure about mum as she dyed it since she was a teenager so we werent really sure what colour it really was!

21. I'm now 33 and have a salt and pepper stripenear my parting. I've given up colouring, the greys show through within a week and despite my hairdressers insistence I do not look good with highlights to disguise them.

At 27, in my mousey hair. I''ve coloured it ever since for both reasons.

A couple of months ago. I'm 34.

I have one. DP always laughs at it cos I just have a single one amongst all my really dark hair. I refuse to yank it out 😂
