Are my eyelash extensions nice?

DH hasn't noticed 😫 and I'm debating now whether they were worth the £45!! I'm starting a bit of a self care process after being on maternity leave and getting ready to go back to work, I haven't been looking after myself and it's snowing badly. Monday is hair cut & colour day!

Yes they are nice and natural. I personally can’t stand the massive volume lashes and prefer the classic individual ones you have had :) I think they look nice and I’m v v fussy when it comes to eyelash extensions. My husband would never notice eyelash extensions unless they were those huge Russian lashes.

breadzeb · 06/04/2019 20:05

Don't know if they are worth £45 but that's because I have never had eyelashes done so have no idea of the average cost. They definitely look different, but not over stated like some of the spiders people wear.

It's a yes from me! Much better Grin

spaniorita · 06/04/2019 20:09

It was an express jobby in a local salon for individual ones a £45 min treatment as opposed to an hour or so which I think was advertised for something like £70 which I couldn't afford. I think they look ok I was expecting slightly more of a flutter but agree they are nice and natural. Thanks!

They look like the gorgeous natural lashes I always envy. They don't look false at all. My dh would never notice them either! I think they're fab.

pouchofdouglas · 06/04/2019 20:13

They’re not long enough

BananaFace5 · 06/04/2019 20:15

Theyre perfect! I had lashes like yours added for my wedding, my dm drove me to the appointment and when i came out she had to look at me really closely to tell theyd been done. It was good though because any longer and people wouldve known they were fake

breadzeb · 06/04/2019 20:15

They’re not long enough

According to what? Is there some sort of set standard for eyelash length?

BananaFace5 · 06/04/2019 20:16

Any longer and theyd look trashy

user1498572889 · 06/04/2019 20:16

They look lovely and natural not like clumpy spiders.

Chilledout11 · 06/04/2019 20:17

They are natural so I would prefer that. I would find 45 expensive though for a subtle look.

concernedfellowmum · 06/04/2019 20:17

Sorry to jump on the thread but I'm getting these done for the first time soon. How do you wash eyeliner and eyeshadow off with them on?

concernedfellowmum · 06/04/2019 20:18

Ps the look lovely op. Nice and natural but pretty x

spaniorita · 06/04/2019 20:19

Just use eye make up remover carefully with cotton wool ball.

I was expecting a bit more noticeable but i think I'm quite pleased with them.

Chancewouldbeafinethlng · 06/04/2019 20:20

It’s more than I would like to pay for something like that, is that the average price?
I agree with others they look very natural though and they do suit you.

dictionarycorners · 06/04/2019 20:21

The first pic is the “after” isnt it?

They look nice and natural.

spaniorita · 06/04/2019 20:21

Thank you - yes, that is what I'm thinking exactly - it's quite an outlay for the result isn't it. I think with quite a good fibre mascara I could achieve similar.

HazardGhost · 06/04/2019 20:21

They look lovely 😊

Ninkaninus · 06/04/2019 20:23

What’s important is that it makes you feel good - that you’ve treated yourself a little and done something just for you that will put a little spring in your step!

FWIW I think they’re lovely and they make a big difference to framing and accentuating your eyes, and they don’t look utterly ridiculous like some false eyelashes do.

Susanna30 · 06/04/2019 20:23

Yeah they look lovely

spaniorita · 06/04/2019 20:24

Yes sorry it switched them around, first pic is after second pic before.

I have such a massive list of stuff I would like to have done!!

I started by getting rid of some terrible hormonal spots on my chin, the doctor had to give me some cream but I've been left with quite bad scars

I've blessed my moustache!!

Hair cut and highlights on Monday, then I'm going to do my nails, also have someone look at my eyebrows.

They look lovely, how long did it take to have them done OP?

Pouchofdouglas · 06/04/2019 20:25

It’s just my opinion. A waste of money to look so unnoticeable.
Plus maintenance.
Don’t use oil based eye make up remover.

spaniorita · 06/04/2019 20:25

Ffs... **bleached my moustache!! That's not some fancy ceremony!

OP posts:
spaniorita · 06/04/2019 20:25

It was a 45 min appt
