When did you last blancmange?

There was a pudding served where I work which somebody described as "blancmange". 2 of my work-chums asked "what's that?". They had never experienced the cold wobbliness of blancmange. Shock

When was the last time you partook of a little blancmange?

Is blancmanging dying out?

It doesn't help that pink flavoured blancmange is the same colour as a peeled rabbit.

Angel Delight is most definitely not blancmange. And neither is jelly whisked with condensed milk - which is called 'Jelly Fluff' in our house and is much loved by the kiddies.

Sorry that should be evaporated milk in the Jelly Fluff..

Oh god, you could cut my Nans blancmange with a chainsaw. I'm sure Grandad used it to plug truck tyres.

Blancmange - hideous.
Butterscotch Angel Delight - food of the gods

I've never used flavoured cornflour - didn't know you could still get it. I just use cornflour, cocoa powder, milk and sugar.

My Nan used to make one every Christmas. I haven't had any for must be 20 years. Really want some now!
