I'm on a cinnamon swirl hunt, who makes the best ones?

I know the real answer to this is Costco but that isn't a possibility

Costa's was too hard.

Can reach a Starbucks, Pret and a M&S.

Never bother with cakes from Starbucks!! M&S is probably your best bet out of those options

Chocolateisfab · 03/04/2019 14:49

Asda do a cook at home refrigerated roll. Looks like a sausage, slice and bake!! Delicious!!

My mum...

Are you looking for a flatter pastry type or a thick bread type?

Darkbaptism · 03/04/2019 14:51

LIDL, from the freshly baked counter.

Lumene · 03/04/2019 14:52

Gail’s.

Aimily · 03/04/2019 14:53

Sainsbury's hands down best I've ever had!!

MerlinsScarf · 03/04/2019 14:54

Oh I could really do with a cinnamon swirl now! Of those options then M&S or Pret, followed by Starbucks (but if Starbucks, ask if they can heat it for you).

BarbaraofSevillle · 03/04/2019 14:57

Lidl have a great bakery section. I haven't had cinammon swirls, but their pastels de nata, cheese straws and crusty bread are all amazing.

FlaviaAlbia · 03/04/2019 14:58

Lidl!

IHaveBrilloHair · 03/04/2019 14:59

Not Asda, their swirls aren't great but the cinnamon rolls with the caramelly icing are delicious.

hettie · 03/04/2019 15:01

Ikea in the random frozen stuff section (seriously)

Persimmonn · 03/04/2019 15:02

In order of greatness: Lidl, M&S, Waitrose, Sainsbury’s, Tesco. IKEA do these amazing little cinnamon swirly things in a packet. They are absolutely amazing 🤤

Bear2014 · 03/04/2019 15:03

If you're in South London - Blackbird Bakery!

LadyMonicaBaddingham · 03/04/2019 15:03

Tesco do frozen ones to bake at home which are really rather nice...

polarpig · 03/04/2019 15:03

The airport shop at O'Hare.

GreenEggsHamandChips · 03/04/2019 15:05

@LadyMonicaBaddingham

I was coming on this thread to say the tesco bake at home ones!

Foodismedicine · 03/04/2019 15:08

Cinnabon.

Gail's bakery in London! I live in Newcastle and whenever we visit London, I have to get my daily fix!

SherlockSays · 03/04/2019 15:15

Cinnabon in America WITHOUT A DOUBT. There is one in London if you're local.

Otherwise, I think Starbucks has it - if they haven't been left out for ages.

Babymamamama · 03/04/2019 15:17

IKEA

QueenofallIsee · 03/04/2019 15:18

Starbucks for me, delish 😋

Pinkiii · 03/04/2019 15:20

Another vote for cinnabon if you can access it

MockerstheFeManist · 03/04/2019 15:21

The Swedes

(Call it a 'Danish' pastry and watch their faces change colour.)

Foodismedicine · 03/04/2019 15:23

The cinnabon dupe recipe works very well.

Loulzze · 03/04/2019 15:29

Definitely agree with lidl!
