I know the real answer to this is Costco but that isn't a possibility

Costa's was too hard.

Can reach a Starbucks, Pret and a M&S.

Starbucks but it HAS to be warmed

NearlySchoolTimeAgain · 03/04/2019 15:33

Starbucks warmed or the Tesco tear and share tray.

Ole & Steen’s cinnamon social slice is amazing! There are loads in London, not sure if nationwide or not

NearlySchoolTimeAgain · 03/04/2019 15:34

I prefer a doughy type. DS2 likes the Danish pastry style.

pisspawpatrol · 03/04/2019 15:38

The dunelm mill cafe ones are amazing.

imnottoofussed · 03/04/2019 15:44

See people on this thread are talking about two different things, a cinnamon bun is completely different to a cinnamon swirl, the first is a thick bread type with gooey topping, the second is dry and crispy Grin

I'm just jotting down all the palces I can get a great bun as I tried baking them twice now with poor results.

WellTidy · 03/04/2019 15:46

The Starbucks one, which is iced, is perfect. But ask how fresh they are, as they are often stale and not nice at all. If they are fresh, they are perfect.

bagpiss · 03/04/2019 15:53

Sainsburys are lovely and not dry but they also sell jus-roll easy bake your own ones and you get about 8 warm and delicious ones from a pack.

Davros · 03/04/2019 15:56

Gail's cinnamon bun or the Nordic Bakery

FindPrimeLorca · 03/04/2019 16:01

Ole & Steen or Nordic Bakery for doughy cinnamon buns. Pret for perfect crispy swirls.

I’m hungry now Sad

Splodgetastic · 03/04/2019 16:07

Lidl.

strongswans · 03/04/2019 16:09

Another vote for Lidl

Pizzaaddict · 03/04/2019 16:11

I always thought it was a cinnamon whirl 😳

BlueMerchant · 03/04/2019 16:12

Sainsburys or M&S.

BertrandRussell · 03/04/2019 16:12

Me. But I use Nigella’s recipe-hang on, I’ll find it.

CoraPirbright · 03/04/2019 16:14

If its the crisp pastry ones you like then I reckon Pret’s are pretty good.

BertrandRussell · 03/04/2019 16:14

buns

listsandbudgets · 03/04/2019 16:15

Lidl

BertrandRussell · 03/04/2019 16:16

sorry, buns

horrayforharoldlloyd · 03/04/2019 16:42

Lidl

Wallabyone · 03/04/2019 16:50

I was just coming on to say Ole and Steen-delicious!

Oh now this might be where I am going wrong- I want the first type!

This Cinnabon place sounds amazing. Opted for M&S in the end, I'd go for a solid 6/10.

happyasasandboy · 03/04/2019 17:41

Pret or Tesco freshly baked counter Smile

LynetteScavo · 03/04/2019 21:39

Cinnabon are amazing if you can get hold of one.

Lidl are the best I can get near me....I've never seen any in Sainsbury's- just the pastry type.

There are a few Swedish bakeries in London I'm curious to visit.

I also like Ikea frozen ones.

Notageek · 03/04/2019 21:44

Ikea cinnamon buns, buy a frozen pack then pop one or more in the oven...makes the house smell lovely but they taste so lovely the disappear very quickly.
