If you were 50+ and a size 14/16, what would you wear to a rave?!

As we are going to one in about a month. It's a 45th birthday party and it's a proper full on rave, not fancy dress.

I have no idea. But I think this must be contender for the best thread title ever.

By rave I mean a couple of djs, proper house music, old school techno music

Even typing this is making me feel ill.

My first thought was "Good on you!" because I really could not be bothered to go to a rave. But clearly you're not utterly thrilled by the idea, either. So you might just come down with D&V the day before.

I'm nearly 50 and I'd have to take the piss and go full on 90s acid rave outfit. I'd be modelling my look on Yazz (when she was singing 'the only way is up'). I think if I popped enough MDMA, I might even be able to enjoy myself.

At least you can wear comfy shoes, so that your tired, ancient feet won't hurt so much.

Jeans or a denim skirt and a stretchy vest top (to hold it all in place) and a lightweight overshirt that I could wear loose or tie at the waist depending on how hot I get .
And Converse . Nothing open toed .

52 , size 14 . Don't drink. (Don't do raves either .........but if I did )
