What was the first thread you read on Mumsnet?

Mine was along the line of 'WIBU to start moisturising my baby so she doesn't get wrinkles' ... I assume it was lighthearted

The one that hooked me was where the OP met the same inconsiderate twit on a country road at the same time every week, and he'd never reverse for her. I think she was on a horse but I'm not sure. The suggestion was raised that a group of MNer gathered in a field acting like zombies. It certainly piqued my interest!

HV told me to have a look at NetMums and I got the name wrong. First thread was an AIBU from someone who was beside herself with indignation that her nanny had given her children ready-made fresh pasta out of a packet rather than making it from scratch herself. I read the OP, thought 'This place is not for the likes of me', read some of the comments and changed my mind!
