My year 10s all worked in silence for 20 minutes solid. Made me realise I'd done a really good job of tailoring the lesson to their needs made me feel much better about my teaching skills, especially after some year 11s complained about me yesterday!

DS stuffed his little face with banana and loved it, despite being hungry for milk and tired! And he smiled. And then smiled. And then smiled a bit more for good measure. They should put that kid in charge of world politics Grin

My 5 month old DS has been off his food for a couple of weeks and had a cough earlier this week. Today he is back on his normal volume of milk and his throat doesn't sound sore anymore. He also had good naps which never happens! A great day 😊

DS & I went for (DoE) 5km run. Weather has been nice. Nothing bad happened.
(Bit pathetic, I know!)
But I do like to endorse nice boring days when nothing bad happened.

We had the final rehearsal for a play I'm in and for the first time ever, the director didn't have any notes for how I could improve. Ready for the stage tomorrow!

Oh and I had lovely hot chocolate and a cookie with a friend earlier.

Today I took two children and a dog for a two mile walk in the woods and no one sat down and refused to walk any more! It was busy until we were 3 minutes walk away from the car park/cafe and then we didnt see another soul for an hour!

My DD11(she is autistic, has some physical disabilities and some health problems)went to her golf club this morning and managed to send her golf ball alot further than she ever has before and her and her Daddy won at the games.

I love no matter how she struggles she never bloody gives up and I love her so much for that.

She makes me smile even on the worst days(I'm disabled myself now and very ill)and makes me feel so proud that I get to be her Mum. Grin

Had an early morning walk in the forest with ds and dh. Beautiful crisp, sunny spring day. Spotted red squirrel and deer. Found a rope swing and our den we built a while ago

I went on the stop Brexit march today.
1,000,000 really angry but incredibly cheery people.
EXCELLENT day.

I played with the horses today, they are always a great experience, no matter how bogged down with life I might be at the start! Always uplifting, and engaging Smile getting away from it all.

I got to cuddle my friend’s new baby. He is a few weeks old, not exactly a newborn but there’s a reason for the delay in cuddles. Both my friend and the baby contracted sepsis and there was a time when I thought she’d be coming home from hospital with her arms empty. I might have had something in my eye when I got to hold him today.

I managed to do a full body workout at the gym, my third of the week, despite only having returned to the gym a fortnight ago after 17 years being too intimidated. I’m due on today as well and have been feeling awful but very proud that I managed it and am already lifting heavier than I did when I first started.

Sending hugs @Bunnylady53 xx
I felt like I was in quite a short fuse today-the usual stuff ie no one else helping, house getting on top of me etc.
Went to see my 3 month old granddaughter for cuddles. She melts my heart. Then came home and took the dogs out for a walk. It was lovely and sunny and it tired them (and me) out. Saw some newborn lambs on the walk too x

I got my nose pierced today whilst out with my friend and my DD. Bloody hurt and is throbbing like mad tonight. But have wanted it doing for years.

I arrived home from work, to find my DD sitting on the sofa waiting for me. She's away at University and this was a surprise visit. I was so happy to see her!

I have been able to watch both my girls have a great day with their friends. They are growing up, and they are doing it SO WELL.

I also think I am over my running injury: killer run yesterday followed by leg-strengthening walk today. Feeling strong.
