I've been really struggling for a while (since DS tbh, PND and exhausted) and have been quite ill this week. But we've just moved somewhere lovely and we're temporarily staying in a beautiful flat. DS only naps in his pushchair and I have to push him and I used to have to battle down busy roads and horrible back streets and now I can walk out of the flat and wander alongside open water, past lovely bars and cafes and a marina. It was a gorgeous sunny day and I just felt full of excitement about the future!

After weeks of terrible weather the sun was shining this morning and the children and I managed a lovely bike ride to school and then back this afternoon. The daffodils are out in the garden and nodding their glorious heads in the breeze. Happy days.

I got two loads of washing dry outside as it was quite sunny here today.
I got two of my newly purchased herbs planted into their big pots.
I didn't have a migraine at all today.
I did over 10k steps.
I stuck to my food goals (trying to lose weight).

I have been waiting 12 years for my husband to put 4 times 1/4 width tiles above the wash basin in the bathroom. Today he has done it.
Today is truly a Red letter day!

Husband's 67th birthday. We walked 4 miles along the beach with our dog then had fish and chips at the coast. So grateful for our good health and being able to enjoy simple pleasures.

Because the northeaster was blowing today, the visibility was good enough to see the Sutton Bank White Horse from the A1.
