Apologies if this has already been linked, but just in case it hasn't, there is a petition to Revoke Article 50 and remain in the EU if anyone is interested. Currently on 52k.

You sort of think this needs to get to 10 million before anyone takes it seriously. I think it could then gain serious traction.
The newspapers are advertising it really well.

Janus · 23/03/2019 07:14

Nearly 4 million, I wonder what the highest.number on a petition is?

ADarkandStormyKnight · 23/03/2019 07:38

I believe the record is held by the one which called for a second referendum - which reached over 4 million. Bit of a theme there.

ADarkandStormyKnight · 23/03/2019 08:44

Appalled to see that the person who started the peition is getting death threats to her phone.

I can't express how I feel about this.

IAimToMisbehave · 23/03/2019 09:04

OMG. Really? That's awful Angry

Starisnotanumber · 23/03/2019 09:56

It's over 4 million now

windysowindy · 24/03/2019 06:08

4.7 million this morning 😀

Redskyandrainbows67 · 24/03/2019 06:15

Do you have friends and family that aren’t signing it? If so why not? Do they think it won’t make a difference? That’s so sad isn’t it.

Walkingwounded · 24/03/2019 06:42

Up to 4.8 million......would be so good to get to 5m.

StealthPolarBear · 24/03/2019 14:34

Your wish is granted ;)

windysowindy · 24/03/2019 14:42

Yes!!!

ADarkandStormyKnight · 24/03/2019 14:55

Pro-Brexit politicians have had nothing useful to say about this, or the March. Nothing. It's been still the same old bollocks all morning about getting the Deal through, pretty much at any cost, presumably to avoid having to face another GE before its accomplished. I don't get this at all - it's screamingly obvious that, whether we should leave ot not, we are not ready, there is no consensus, and we should take a step back.

It's vital that people who are sympatheitic but haven't signed yet get online and sign.

Fresta · 24/03/2019 14:56

I read that the creator of the petition has been receiving death threats, as has Anna Soubry. It's disgusting- are leavers also getting death threats from remainers, or is that the reserve of the loony leavers?

ADarkandStormyKnight · 24/03/2019 15:05

Anna Soubrey can't even go home (police advice) - it's shocking.

themoomoo · 24/03/2019 15:26

are leavers also getting death threats from remainers
on a fair few threads here Remainers have said that they hope Leavers die if there are any medicine shortages and that they hope leavers are the ones to suffer in the event of food shortages, so yes, they have

Windowsareforcheaters · 24/03/2019 15:32

Is their a difference between a death threat and saying that the people who voted for a situation - shortage of medicines - should be the ones to bear the brunt of the situation?

Fresta · 24/03/2019 15:33

moo, that's not the same as actually threatening to kill someone though is it?

TheElementsSong · 24/03/2019 16:45

that's not the same as actually threatening to kill someone though is it?

Apparently it is, in Brave New Brexitannia.

FoxFoxSierra · 24/03/2019 18:15

Would be great to get to 6 million. If all of us in favour get 3 new people to sign,we can get there....

ADarkandStormyKnight · 24/03/2019 21:25

A rival petition!

petition.parliament.uk/petitions/243319

TalkinPaece · 24/03/2019 21:26

There were over 1,000,000 angry remainers marching through London yesterday
and the police were drinking coffee and dancing

keep signing the petition 5,254,155 as of just now

Mykingdomforanickname · 24/03/2019 21:58

Has anyone else been looking with interest at the map on the petitions website that shows where in the UK the signatures are coming from? You can set it to number of signatures or signatures as a percentage of constituents. The whole of Scotland has now moved off "pale yellow". Nearly every constituency in Wales has, Blaenau Gwent being the one exception.
