YouCantBeSirius · 13/03/2019 19:05

Band D, just got new bill through today. £1164. Smallish 2 bed in West of Scotland.

HelenaDove · 13/03/2019 19:05

chocolatelog · 13/03/2019 19:08

£1,513.71
Band b
4 bedroom house Bedfordshire

sleepyhead · 13/03/2019 19:09

£1740 band E urban 3 bed flat, West of Scotland.

That's the council tax bit without the Scottish Water charge which takes it up to £2283.

StylishDuck · 13/03/2019 19:10

£2159, Band E, 3 bed semi in west of Scotland

GiantKitten · 13/03/2019 19:14

Haven’t got next year’s yet but last year was £1520 - band C, 3-bed mid-terrace, Lancashire

Water United Utilities £404 (flat rate)

Total £1924

MadisonAvenue · 13/03/2019 19:21

Band D, 4 bedroom new build in the Midlands - £1720.
£80 increase on last year.

jinglewithbellson · 13/03/2019 19:24

Band b £1600
Doesn't include water and sewerage. That's another £1200 a year 🙄

YouBumder · 13/03/2019 19:24

Not got our new bill yet but expect it will be around £220 a month for 10 months. We are band E in a crappy 3 bed semi, our bands are crap! West Scotland.

AKAanothername · 13/03/2019 19:27

£2,665 band F, 4 bed detached, Bedfordshire

teyem · 13/03/2019 19:27

£1861 band d

ChodeofChodeHall · 13/03/2019 19:30

About £600 a year (cheapest rates in the UK 👍)

MrBrown · 13/03/2019 19:34

I always forget the band, might be D, who knows 🤷‍♀️ but it's about £1300 a year, 3 bed semi in the Midlands.

CluedoAddict · 13/03/2019 19:36

£1426 Band B but I have applied for rebanding. After watching Martin Lewis I have found out some of our neighbours in identical houses are on a Band A.

This year alone is £200 difference. I am hoping for a big refund if we get it rebanded. We have lived here 20 years so could be due about £4000 back.

Lookingforadvice123 · 13/03/2019 19:40

Don't actually know how much annually as we pay monthly direct debit but it's Band F, also a 3 bed semi in South Wales (Cardiff). I was shocked at the first bill as our old house was Band C!

Where do you live OP?

Lemoncurd · 13/03/2019 19:42

£2230, band G, 3 bed bungalow

MrsDeanWinchester75 · 13/03/2019 19:57

£2070 Band E.

How do they justify the variations? Yes I live in a 4 bed detached but surely I don't get £1k more in extra services than the people living in the band A 3 bed terraces a few houses further up the street.

GiantKitten · 13/03/2019 20:20

MrsDeanWinchester75

You'd have been a great fan of the poll tax then

chelseaMumma · 13/03/2019 20:25

Band C £1500

candlefloozy · 13/03/2019 20:55
