I feel upset, sick and cheated by Leaving Neverland

I was one of those people who kept saying the men are out to make money. That there’s no evidence etc. But I finally watched the documentary yesterday and it’s hurt me a lot. I feel like I was lied to my whole life. I know it sounds so melodramatic and selfish but MJ was my idol growing up. I remember being 7 years old and dancing and singing his songs.

Now I feel sick to the core. If Wade Robson and James Safechuck are lying, then they’re incredibly good liars.

MJ was a paedophile.

LaToya is a curious one. She called him out as a paedophile then backtracked massively insisting her abusive husband forced her to say it.

Pretty sure she (Latoya) was under immense pressure to revoke those comments by her family/the estate. Who knows what she was threatened with? Those who say wade and Robson are just doing it for the money, are they also just doing it for the death threats and humiliation? No amount of money is worth that. They are now living in fear of retribution from sad fanatical fans.

MJ probably hushed LaToya up, like he housed Wade Robson and James Safechuck. MJ was sleeping in the same bed as a boy from aged 9-19. That boy did not feel tgat it was wrong as an adult, similar to Robson and Safechuck, that he probably felt MJ loved him. I believe those men much more than I believe the MJ supporters who come out with the same mantra with very little evidence.

Many people have a model of how paedophile and victim should be. The paedophile should be a slavering monster, hiding in a corner, tempting children with sweets or puppies. The victim should be meek, tearful or better still, invisible.

This doesnt fit into the model. MJ was high profile, portrayed himself as a lost boy, almost fitting our model as a victim not perpetrator.

Like Jimmy Savile he hid in plain sight. Both used their weirdness as a shield. Inappropriate behaviour was explained away as just being an example of their weirdness rather than evidence of criminal behaviour.

I have just finished the documentary....I feel silent. That's the only word I can find describe the deep feeling of compassion for Wade and James.

They were so brave to share their story and bring to light the complex and contradictory feelings that they felt/feel.

I actually hate seeing MJ referred to as a man-child in any articles..or the 'he didn't have a childhood' mantra. It feels like minimisation and excuses. There comes a point where full responsibility becomes the persons alone.

Wade Robson recently called out Aaron Carter as another potential victim. Aaron has come back supporting MJ 100% and accusing Wade of lying. He has said that he stayed there, once at the age of 15, in MJs bed. Having read about it all and watching the various documentaries over the years, I fully believe people like Aaron Carter were the cover up kids. At 15 he's too old to be in MJs taste and a little too old (given the maturity that came with his lifestyle) to be groomed. Therefore of course he'll say it was innocent, his visit probably was. That doesn't mean that the other 4 young boys who have spoken out about being abused by MJ are lying. One person's experience will always be different to another's, especially if a master manipulator has made it that way.

There is no doubt in my mind that he is guilty and that there are potentially hundreds of other victims. If they all started coming out and sharing their stories now, how many would it take before they were believed as clearly 4 is not enough.

What shocked me the most was how he duck didnhe get away with it after the first court case when he was found not guilty wtf

And even Neverland staff had seen him doing inappropriate thjngs

I watched the first part of this last night and I was just..... stunned. I don't know why, it was nothing we didn't already 'know' as such, but to hear it in such graphic detail, to hear how they had been groomed to such an extent that they were desperate to spend time with him, they were so young....it was so distressing to watch. Those poor boys.

I don't know about Aaron Carter - he may not have been abused by MJ, but something happened to him, he is so completely fucked up now.

I don’t believe all the boys were abused either. Macaulay was too high profile for him to touch. Maybe others had better parents not allowing full access, who knows? Aaron carter was definitely high profile back then, another one he knew wouldn’t go under the radar if he got caught.

Of course MJ didn’t abuse every child he came into contact with. I am curious about the Culkin relationship. Part of me thinks he probably did as Culkin seems like such a damaged individual- but he did have a very difficult relationship with his own parents so maybe this accounts for a lot of it. I think MJ might have been clever enough not to abuse those who already had money - he could never have paid them off.

He wasn't found guilty partially because they had a very effective strategy of discrediting the accusers and their witnesses. Something the jacksons are trying to do to reed, Robson and safechuck now.

It is curious to see a small but vocal minority of those who are supportive of the Me Too movement to attack the victims of Jackson or defend his behaviour.

I was reading something the other day that MJ earns more dead than when he was alive. His family have every reason to preserve his “innocent man” status, because it’s their livelihood. Apparently 40% goes to his mother, 40% to his children and the other 20% to “charities”.

Because once they’ve said it didn’t happen to then it’s very hard to go back on that and say what the others have which is basically yes it did I just wasn’t ready at the time to admit it

I believe his mother knows that he was a paedophile. She's just as greedy as the rest of the family. Once she dies and the siblings start fighting over the money they will start breaking rank. Until then they all stand to benefit so much from his sales.
