I feel upset, sick and cheated by Leaving Neverland

I was one of those people who kept saying the men are out to make money. That there’s no evidence etc. But I finally watched the documentary yesterday and it’s hurt me a lot. I feel like I was lied to my whole life. I know it sounds so melodramatic and selfish but MJ was my idol growing up. I remember being 7 years old and dancing and singing his songs.

Now I feel sick to the core. If Wade Robson and James Safechuck are lying, then they’re incredibly good liars.

MJ was a paedophile.

Just catching up with it on 4OD, those poor boys. Just babies in every sense of the word, and taken so advantage of at such a young age.

I think in general abuse is an ongoing unravelling process. Even years after the fact, as you age and mature there will be new dimensions that you see the abuse through and cause you to perceive and relive it in a different way.

Lol. Anyone who believes claims by a biographer, presented on a typo-laden gossip site, are facts (especially when we already know the families testified in favour of Jackson many years ago in the past), has my pity.

I think back in the 80s and 90s people felt sorry for MJ because he'd had such an abusive childhood, and people in general didnt really believe in sexual abuse at all - even if a man groped a child and the child was believed, it was "if it makes them happy, it doesn't hurt you, be quiet" Until Axl Rose's Rolling Stone article, Corey Haim's death, and the story of Genie, sexual abuse just didn't occur to people as a possibility.

Malicious gossip is only coming from one side. All the facts were laid out in court and the man was exonerated. Simple.

Well I've been up till very late last with my friend who absolutely denies anything went on , me on the other hand ,well I'm 50/50 these are the things he has told me ready...
Mj was told by his insurers to pay out the chandler case as he would lose out on 200 million in the world tour so the 20 odd million was small fry, mj at the time was going to be sued in a civil case and then it was going to criminal court after thus basically giving the prosecution all the case they needed. The us has since changed the law regarding this. So his advisers said just pay up I was shown a link on you tube with lawyers discussing this. Either wade or James stated a date where and when abused and the location was euro Disney but according to my friend the park was never opened at the time of the allegation along with a mock train station at Neverland which he said at the time given would of made James 17 years old also my friends partner said that the burning of the jacket and other memorabilia at the end of documentary was also a set up as wade had sold other things at auction . And finally, there is no tv network that will make the Jackson's families side of the documentary again I must state this is my friends view but in 50/50 has anyone else heard any of this ??

Cc all the facts were not laid out in court and MJ was not exonerated, as there has been no court case brought by either James or Wade since MJ is dead.

I mean it’s much simpler if all these unrelated boy described the same mechanisms of abuse, all these families that describe the same grooming process, the matching descriptions of MJ’s unusual markings on his penis, the bloodied child-size underpants recovered by the police, the many many books of pictures of young naked boys recovered by the police, the allegations from numerous staff members that they encountered MJ showering with and abusing boys, and much more, is all lies?

The thing that get's me about all this is the timing of it all. Wade only made the accusations after he felt slighted by the estate. He started to have big financial problems and then he makes his claim for millions.

James only realised he had been abused when Wade came out and made this claim. Really? You didn't realise before that, or just jumping on the bandwagon? His claims about being abused in the train station could not have happened, he claims the abuse stopped in 1992, but the stations wasn't built until 1994. Does the programme say how many of those boys' families received money from MJ? I know some did and I've never got my head around those parents effectively prostituting their sons for money.

Surely that depends.

If you find out your child has been abused and start legal action your lawyer is going to tell you what will happen.

You child will have to testify in court, in front of strangers about their first ever sexual encounter. They are then going to be cross examined by the best team of lawyers money can buy.

Your child will be called a liar, their identity will become known to the public no matter what the law is.

Then you are offered $20 million. That buys an awful lot of therapy. All you have to do is say nothing.

Seems like you could do with doing a bit of fact checking and research yourself, m’dear.

The fact is, both men managed to convince a jury despite cross examination from some of the best in the business that they were telling the truth the first times around. They are both professional actors/performers that was their job. They have now convinced people that what they are now saying is the truth.

They have also got the holes in their story so wide you could drive a bus through it. Then you have the timings. That’s why I don’t believe these two.

Please don’t confuse my views on victims and these two men. You don’t know anything about my background and my views in general are probably the same as yours.

In this specific case however they differ. You can say or believe what you think but in these cases I don’t believe what they are saying. Sorry if that upsets you but it’s how it is. If you choose to believe then it’s up to you but I don’t know much evidence you need putting in front of you to see how much you’ve been triggered by such an emotive subject.
