I feel upset, sick and cheated by Leaving Neverland

I was one of those people who kept saying the men are out to make money. That there’s no evidence etc. But I finally watched the documentary yesterday and it’s hurt me a lot. I feel like I was lied to my whole life. I know it sounds so melodramatic and selfish but MJ was my idol growing up. I remember being 7 years old and dancing and singing his songs.

Now I feel sick to the core. If Wade Robson and James Safechuck are lying, then they’re incredibly good liars.

MJ was a paedophile.

I know it is creepy, different from the sad frail man that MJ likes to portray to the public.

lolaflores · 15/03/2019 19:49

I remember him playing up the did are flower carry on durimgnthe trial
Turning up in his pjs. Claiming to be confused and too ill to attend court. The judge compelled him in the end but he was trying so hard to not be there.
But felt fine standing in top of a car celebrating his outcome.
And he got away with it

Micheal had massive art painted of himself with a loin cloth surrounded by boys.

Ughhhh, I’ve started the Martin Bashir interview because I was quite young when it was shown and never watched it. I saw that painting and it’s disgusting. They’re cherub naked boys around him and he’s sitting there like the messiah. So much in plain sight. Atrocious.

God bless Jarvis Cocker is all I can say. Not a man to sit and applaud the sycophancy and delusion. If only see all paid a bit more attention.
Would this be a good time to mention David Steele and what he knew about Cyril Smith?

Desperateforspring · 15/03/2019 20:41

I think the music company needs too come under spot light really... some poor maid working for him being told her throat will be slit and family killed if she's said anything is vulnerable and powerless.... what about the exec's in music company! They're must known ..

gluteustothemaximus · 15/03/2019 20:41

I believe MJ was a prolific paedophile. This is based on:

The depression/break downs suffered by both Wade and James. You can't just make that shit up. They can't plan 20 years of feeling anxious/depressed/not sleeping so that when they hit a certain age, they can accuse MJ of something and cash in.

The grooming of ordinary families. The separation of their parents. Two suicides (two father's).

Their accounts. Completely dissociated. Hallmark abuse.

The details in their accounts, like the alarm system in place that would sound if someone was approaching the room. (This was confirmed by Macauley Culkin)

MJ's weird birthday message. That was fucking creepy.

The interview on the plane with James, and how he said being with James was the best part of the trip. Very creepy.

There's more, as it was 4 hours long. The Oprah interview afterwards was a good follow up. I believe them.

Thing I don't get though is the Jackson's say 'Wade Robson and James Safechuck have both testified under oath that Michael never did anything inappropriate toward them'. Therefore they are admitted liars. Eh? Either they were lying then, or they are lying now, it can't be both?!

LuggsaysNotaWomen · 15/03/2019 20:45

That smirk is a sign of a sociopath. Offenders, even when they are trying hard to present appropriate emotional reactions in interviews and such, will smirk - they can't help themselves because they know something that you don't and they enjoy the power.

Aeroflotgirl · 15/03/2019 20:51

Sorry proper link www.sleek-mag.com/article/michael-jackson-art/

Plus Glutus MJ behaviour was typical of a paedophile, how he sought out families with boys, used his status, gifts, wealth to seduce them and gain their trust, and gradually isolated the boys away from their families, and got them alone.

Aeroflotgirl · 15/03/2019 20:51

Forgot about the indecent images of children found at his Ranch.

Aeroflotgirl · 15/03/2019 20:55

One of the artists if you read, said exactly what one of the men on the documentary has said about MJ. Once he got older, MJ just stopped calling and it felt like he had been dumped kind of thing.

He lived in a fantasy world and if he didn’t like something, you felt as if he could behead you. But the way he does it is by not calling you again. And somewhere along the line he stopped calling me and I thought I had been beheaded.” - Ralph Wolfe Cowan

xsquared · 15/03/2019 21:09

Watched the video of the interview that Aeroflotgirl posted. I cannot believe the arrogance he's showing there, right up to comparing himself with Jesus, "let the children come to me". Blurgh.

I'm saddened because I grew up as a fan of his music and had his albums and loved watching his cinematic videos. I feel aggrieved for the now grown men he abused and everybody who has fallen for his act.

Desperateforspring · 15/03/2019 21:25

Yes. that art.

TheChampagneGalop · 15/03/2019 21:59

There is an incredible amount of evidence that he was indeed a paedophile and a serial abuser of boys.

Those denying this remind me of religious fanatics. They just KNOW MJ is innocent, no matter what sort of info comes out.

BloggersNet · 15/03/2019 22:02

It's incredible how much I've learned about the whole grooming process and effects just from following the Leaving Neverland thing unfold. Someone somewhere said it's amazing the mental gymnastics MJ's supporters have to go through to even attempt to justify his behaviour. It's scary how he is still managing to groom people on such a large scale 10 years after his death!!

AnaChocolatte · 15/03/2019 22:57

That video of him being interviewed by the police is quite terrifying. He is very confident of himself - so arrogant.

He is also so bloody monstrous to look at by that point - he really is a Grimm's fairy tale come to life.

I find the whole thing very disturbing, how it was in plain sight, how easy it is to con everyone, very hard to call him out on anything as the Peter Pan image was an answer for anything.

GreenTulips · 15/03/2019 23:01

It look at it another way

MJ stories sold newspapers, made TV headlines, he employed people

There was nothing to gain by calling him out

Colourpencils · 16/03/2019 00:11

A huge industry, so many people's jobs depended on him being believable

Aeroflotgirl · 16/03/2019 08:39

MJ had two images, one that he portrayed to the public and his fans and another real MJ that was hidden, seedy and less desirable.

dartitus · 16/03/2019 08:57

I don’t think the whole of the documentary is true; yes I think Michael has a mind of a child seeing as he didn’t have much of a childhood himself and was truly a kid at heart.
Michael being accused went on for years.
When Michael was accused the first time he paid off the parents to not take it to court - yes, this may make him look suspicious, BUT I know I would want my offender behind bars because no money could make me forget that I was abused.
He went to court when he was accused the second time and the whole jury did not believe any of the victims on 10 counts of assault, Michael walked out a free man even though the jury knew the facts that Michael shared beds with children.
one Of the victims tried to see Michael for millions years after he died and the case was dismissed even though the victim said himself at one point it never had anything to do with the money and he also defended Michael in court and to the public many times as an adult.
The parents of the victims in the programme were fucking awful; accepting Michael to pay for their mortgage, letting Michael have their children for a week by themselves. One of the mothers even caused her husband to hang himself because she was convinced she could find fame and fortune in los Angeles because of Michael and left her own husband behind.

I’m not saying I do or don’t believe it, just think people are so quick to believe the full story of a programme, when yet every single time it’s been in the news, money has been involved and Michael has walked from court a free man.
We will NEVER know the truth but I will never deny that he was a truly amazing artist and I will always love his music.

calpop · 16/03/2019 09:46

Wow. Can you look at everything gathered here and still think "Michael" as you call him, like you knew him, was just a poor, persecuted, man child, forever frozen outside adult responsibility, because of the terrible way he was bought up?

www.reddit.com/r/LeavingNeverlandHBO/comments/b01mq3/megathread_the_case_against_michael_jackson/

If you can, I think you are very deluded.

Aeroflotgirl · 16/03/2019 09:56

Wow dartitus mind of a child, whilst kiddy fiddling and posessing indecent images of children, he has worked his number on you. No doubt he was abused by his dad, and had a very dysfunctional childhood, which probably made him the person that he was, but mind of a child, really!

Aeroflotgirl · 16/03/2019 09:57

dartitus I ask you this, would you trust your children with this man!

TacoLover · 16/03/2019 10:02

The parents were as much victims as the boys were.

Hmm
Aeroflotgirl · 16/03/2019 10:11

Calpop wow, What MJ cooks said about Jimmy Safechuck being too old and discarded, Jimmy said the same thing on the documentary, he came to meet MJ but MJ had moved on. Your links to those videos is piecing every bit together to form a big picture of MJ behaviour and his love of boys and how he groomed them and their families.
