I'm awake as 5 year old ds has been awake since 11 with awful sickness and Diarrhea. Having a horrible night and I'm definitely not going to get any sleep even if he manages to drift off for a while! what's everyone else up to???

Oh dear, hope he's feeling better soon & you manage to get a bit of sleep yourself.

I'm up simply because I'm a night owl & it's not bedtime yet.

strawberrylollipop · 10/03/2019 01:02

Because this week I've found the line of duty series and cannot sleep until I have finished the last episode .... oops

Heratnumber7 · 10/03/2019 01:02

I ate and drank too much whilst watching the rugby earlier and now can't sleep.

But so did DH and he's happily snoring next to me Angry

I hope so to thank you. He's never had a bug like this so he's extra sad....and I'm extra concerned about how long it might last. Also how to avoid me and eldest child catching it.
All your reasons seem much more appealing than the reason why I'm awake.

Ouf, feel for you egg, that's hard.

I'm across the pond, only 8pm here. Finally sat down with MN and the TV & Wine

Decormad38 · 10/03/2019 01:13

Dd(13) had been babysitting next door. Came back at 11.30 then was peering round my door looking for a phone charger. Now she is fast asleep and I’m wide awakeAngry

sleepalldays · 10/03/2019 01:15

Panic attack. I can't breathe and my stomach is so tense- adrenaline is making me have the shakes.

OnlineAlienator · 10/03/2019 01:17

eggonmyface · 10/03/2019 01:17

01:15am here! I come to bed at 10, so far I've had 0 sleep. This is not how I wanted to spend Saturday night. Hope those of you who want to sleep get some soon and the rest of you enjoy what you are doing

cheeseislife8 · 10/03/2019 01:20

@sleepallday that's hard, hope you find some peace!

I'm just awake for no good reason. Again Hmm

Teatimeted · 10/03/2019 01:20

Ill toddler. We're on day 4 of a viral infection/ heavy cold . He woke at 10.45, midnight and 1am.

This is night four of broken sleep.

Bridgeofpies · 10/03/2019 01:20

Hello!

Up with 7 month old who most nights seems to need to thrash about / cry / grizzle for several hours between 1am and 5am. It’s getting old now! So I’m listening to the rain and looking at MN so I don’t throw him out the window

Are you ok sleep? Do you have someone with you or a technique for calming yourself down?

I feel for you egg! I have been there and a night of DC with D&V is not fun! Hope he is better soon and the rest of you escape!

insti · 10/03/2019 01:23

Sleepalldays - I've been diagnosed with anxiety recently and found breathing in through your nose and out through your mouth for a min or 2 actually does help! Obviously not a cure but I think it's helped keep a few panic attacks at bay when Ive felt them beginning.

Do you know what's causing you to feel this way?

By the way I'm awake because I can't stop watch a series on Amazon Prime. I've only recently been able to hold my concentration long enough to get through an episode and now I'm hooked.

GivemeGivenchy · 10/03/2019 01:25

I have a cough and it is keeping me awake. It just won't stop :(

mumofthreethatsme · 10/03/2019 01:34

3 year old with chicken pox here....night 3 of no sleep....thank goodness for Peppa and Paw Patrol Smile

pink412 · 10/03/2019 01:35

Back pain tonight

BrokenWing · 10/03/2019 02:05

Just back from pub crawl (dust night out for ages) , a bit pissed and can't sleep......

Tink1990 · 10/03/2019 02:12

Well, my neibours woke me stomping around then arguing. Then felt a lil icky cus i get scared / worried when i hear arguing. Then convinced myself i feel icky due to the ham i ate earlier so had a bit of a meltdown now just sitting up in bed composing myself Grin

MarvinMarvinson · 10/03/2019 02:12

Hope all the poorly babies are better soon and that your panic attack has eased sleepalldays.

I'm just finishing work where I ate too much crap and now have a bad tummy Sad

DramaAlpaca · 10/03/2019 02:44

Panic attacks are horrible, I've been there Flowers

I'm now in bed with a cup of tea & hope I'll sleep soon. It's hard being a natural night owl when you have to get up for work on Monday morning & function properly. I manage on minimal sleep during the week & catch up at the weekend. It's a pain. And two of my young adult DC are the same, they've inherited my bad sleep habits.

Herja · 10/03/2019 02:55

I keep seeing things. I could see a small goat demon in my bedroom so I am not in it. It turned out to be the cat basket.

I will go to bed soon. Once I've calmed down again.
