Why's everyone awake tonight!?

I'm awake as 5 year old ds has been awake since 11 with awful sickness and Diarrhea. Having a horrible night and I'm definitely not going to get any sleep even if he manages to drift off for a while! what's everyone else up to???

I'm in Canada, it's midnight here now and I've just got into bed. I'm very tired but also excited and a bit nervous because we're going on holiday to Costs Rica tomorrow!

The people upstairs have been crashing about and using their washing machine since 4am.

About to try the arms-to-crib transition with my beautiful but sleepless 8 week old daughter.

She's been miserable for the last 2 weeks and I'm wondering if this is it now? Her sleep had been steadily improving and then it all went to hell.

DD wet our bed though she had only been in her nappy for 90 minutes so we’re sleeping on a towel as I can’t get to fresh sheets without waking others in this house.

Well I'm up because the bloody cockerel and the dog were tag teaming an hour ago-but even they can't take the shine off the day-the birds are singing,it's going to be a beautiful day and it's CARNIVAL!!! Waiting for dear daughter to wake up so we can start getting dressed and made up-it's a long day full of music,laughter,dancing and waving st the hordes who come to watch the parade in Limassol :) :) hope all of you with sick babies have a chance to snooze and relax (a bit Pie in the sky but sending healing vibes to you all!!)
