What facial moisturiser do you use at night?

Just curious to know what others use as an overnight facial moisturiser?

I find most of the specific night moisturisers are too heavy and cause breakouts. Also, it seems most daytime moisturisers suitable for my age (40 in a few months) have SPF which also cause me to breakout if I use overnight.

I've got the stage where need to use something. Any suggestions for a lighter night time moisturiser?

I use Simple replenishing rich moisturiser morning & night. They do the same one in 'light' which I'm going to try over the summer. Il

La Roche Posay Redermic (no SPF) at the moment. It's not specifically a night cream and it's not heavy.

I use Avant deluxe it is brilliant.

Aldi Lacura Q10 Renew.
People rave about their caviar creams, but I find them too heavy.
The Q10 creams are much lighter, though the night cream is 'heavier' than the day.

Lidl moisturiser it’s about £1.20 and is in a small blue pot. I feel like my skin is all soft and youthful.

I've just started using a retinol serum at night. So not moistursing at night, only in the morning. Not sure if I should be moistursing at night as well.

None. I used to, but I haven't seen any deterioration since I stopped so it seems like yet another waste of money.

DerbyRacer · 06/03/2019 18:05

None. My skin seems better without it.

I also use the simple moisturiser, normally the light one all over and then the rich one as a spot treatment if I have any dry patches/ tight feeling skin. Never used to use moisturiser but since starting have discovered I'm actually pretty dry but my skin was over producing oil to counter it.

Trilogy Rosapene night cream - smells amazing and lovely texture, not too thick, not too thin.

La Roche Posay Redermic ( with retinol ) at night for my wrinkles.
I'm going to get the one with SPF for daytime too.
I shall be wrinkle free Grin

Tenpole · 06/03/2019 18:50

M&S Ultimate Sleep Cream. My skin has definitely improved since I’ve been using it.

I generally use the Rose Beauty Balm from Neal's Yard but tempting to try either the M&S one or the LRP one.

CaseofEllen · 06/03/2019 19:39

Aveno baby morning and night. My skin is sensitive and this has literally changed everything 🙏🏼

Nivea classic, on my face, neck and that bit between your boobs.

It keeps my skin hydrated all night and stops the wrinkles, especially in the boob crease! Grin

AliceAforethought · 06/03/2019 20:16
