I'll get the ball rolling:

People biting into apples
Tea slurpers

OP posts:
RussellTheLoveMuscle · 23/02/2019 23:35

People with snotty noses eating anything.

People rustling crisps packets/sweet wrappers, especially in the cinema.

My dd crunching ice cubes.

Engines idling outside my bedroom window.

Any noise when I'm trying to sleep except rain.

AbelMancwitch · 23/02/2019 23:48

Another misophoniac here so basically everything annoys me all the time, but mainly mouth noises, eating noises etc. I have a colleague who takes a mouthful of tea and swills it round his mouth for about 5 seconds every time. By the time he finishes a cup I could happily kill him. I sometimes have to leave.

DS I think is trying to learn to beatbox. Every waking second of the day. By rights I should be drunk all the time...

DustyMaiden · 23/02/2019 23:51

Heart monitors. Snoring.

Kay2705 · 23/02/2019 23:52

My Husband gulping water loud🙄🙄

BibbityBobbityEars · 24/02/2019 00:12

People eating apples, crisps, popcorn
Snoring

MrsMartinRohde · 24/02/2019 00:18

The monotone chanting hand clappy game thing that 8-9yr old girls do in playgrounds (and on buses) ... rage

Knuckle cracking

Noisy breathing/ snoring when I'm trying to sleep

Teeth grinding noise of someone chewing coffee beans

peeree · 24/02/2019 00:23

women screeching/shouting/howling/ha ha ha-ing in public places with several other equally noisy women.

IamPickleRick · 24/02/2019 00:32

The clappy hand game thing is not monotone if you are doing it correctly Mrsmartin. It’s faster and faster until either someone’s hand falls off or you accidentally take a slap to the face. Or maybe that’s just how we played it in North london 😂

AlrightBabby · 24/02/2019 00:56

My husband crunching on mint humbugs - just suck them and enjoy the chewy bit in the middle you philistine

People rubbing their hands together, I just can't bear it, it makes me shudder, it sounds all dry and papery. Alexander Armstrong does it all the while in Pointless, I have to switch over when he starts his rubbing!

Tapping, clicking, dripping, beeping of any sort - argh!

BUT - the the most ANNOYING noise of all is that bloody silent car advert, I always think the TV is jiggered, I think that's what they want me to think!!

EnthusiasmIsDisturbed · 24/02/2019 01:04

Men using baby talk to adults it’s revolting

Should be shot on the spot

Slurping drink or food

crumbnugget · 24/02/2019 01:05

People that make mouth noises when they talk, like a clicking saliva sound. Siân Lloyd when doing the weather drives me mad! I have to turn her off.

justilou1 · 24/02/2019 01:17

My husband snoring
Ooooh - and him licking his fucking fingers!

Runoutofgas · 24/02/2019 01:18

People clinking their teeth on cutlery when eating. Makes me shudder and cringe every time.

BartonHollow · 24/02/2019 01:28

A dripping tap or showerhead, particularly if getting rid of it means getting out of bed to get shut

Nexts doors permanent hacking/hocking cough 🤮

The really specific voice one of my colleagues uses when describing the plot of a film from the viewpoint of a character "and yeah yeah yeah and then I'm going to do this yeah?"

A girl who visits our office who would self describe as "bubbly" Reality : Has a wild, loud, never ending laugh which is constant and will laugh at things that aren't even vaguely funny as though they are hilarious

She is not SN just THICK AS MINCE and her inane cackle would drive a saint to drink

cheaperthebetter · 24/02/2019 01:28

Hiccups!....Honestly I Could literally 'punch' the person...🤬..I don't know why I get like it...🤷🏻‍♀️...😔...Also the same with;
Dogs claws on wooden floor...😫
Dog crying at the back door...😫(for the whole 30secs he has been out!)
Throat clearing...🤢..🤮
Oh!...and people 'shouting' when talking (general convo) when you are actually next to them ...😐...But Hiccups!...Arghhh!....I honestly believe I could kill...😳..😖😖😖!!!!

cheaperthebetter · 24/02/2019 01:46

Oh and when someone starts singing a song (that comes on an advert/radio/tv show etc) and they DON'T KNOW THE WORDS! OR GET THEM MUDDLED UP OR ACTUALLY MAKE THEM UP!...😖...Just DON'T sing or simply just mime in future 😁....

EnthusiasmIsDisturbed · 24/02/2019 01:59

BartonHollow we have one of those bubbly women or girl as she refers herself to though I’m sure she is late 40’s. She also describes herself as mad while cackling

She works in MH thank fuck she doesn’t have contact with any patients

3in4years · 24/02/2019 07:05

Ticking clock
Central heating/ air conditioning

AmIthatbloodycold · 24/02/2019 12:33

MaFleur. I'm trying to figure out what beard fiddling sounds like

Mine are whistling and lots of radio voices

I love radio but there's dr Sarah Jarvis with her wet mouth.

And two radio 2 newsreaders where I feel the red mist rising and have to turn off the news.

Kismetjayn · 24/02/2019 12:43

The beeping my tumble drier makes when it's done makes me want to kill it.

EastMidsGPs · 24/02/2019 13:40

I've been wandering through the Desert Island Discs archive recently and have developed an irrational hatred of Sue Lawley. Her voice, her intonation, her holier than thou attitude ... would frog march get into room 101 (along with Gary Barlow who sounded an arse on his DID)

HazelBite · 24/02/2019 14:06

Sniffing, sniffing, sniffing
Youngsters talking when every other word is "like" eg It was like....and I was like..... It drives me to feel murderous, FFS just talk properly!!!!!!

Grinchly · 24/02/2019 14:26

Cracklng of crisp packets or sweet wrappers
Babies/ children shrieking

midsomermurderess · 24/02/2019 14:46

Gum chewers.

CatinMyLap · 24/02/2019 21:56

People vaping
