I'll get the ball rolling:

People biting into apples
Tea slurpers

Clicking pens 🤬

TaMereAPoilDevantPrisu · 23/02/2019 17:05

Children's ride-in electric cars. Worst fucking sound in the world.

AlwaysSomethingThere · 23/02/2019 17:05

My misophonia was so bad the other night I got in the car and screamed so loud I thought I was going to pass out 😢 when it's triggered it literally feels like I'm being physically attacked

Most of the above. Plus Chewbacca. Or children pretending to be Chewbacca.

Livingthedream12345 · 23/02/2019 17:07

My ex drinking cherry brandy. He would drink some them swish it round in his mouth before swallowing. I had to put my fingers in my ears.
Ex....thank goodness..

mamaduckbone · 23/02/2019 17:10

Teeth scraping on a fork.
Honestly, I could cheerfully murder my own flesh and blood for this.

Holymolymackerel · 23/02/2019 17:14

My husband snoring

Applescoop · 23/02/2019 17:14

The wake up alarm beep. Urgh.

Insomnibrat · 23/02/2019 17:17

The squeak of plastic water bottles packaged together and rubbing against each other. I had to pull over once in the way home from Morrison's and separate the bottles onto individual footwells.

StealthPolarBear · 23/02/2019 17:19

A door banging repeatedly. I was about to start this thread an hour ago.

Insomnibrat · 23/02/2019 17:19

Oh and next door coughing.
Cough cough cough cough cough cough....AGH!!!!!!!!!!

STOP SMOKING! You're 26 and have the lungs of an retired car sprayer!

Iamboudicca · 23/02/2019 17:21

Dh coughing. Dd immitating vegimals immitating whale song. “Why?” My best friend stirring tea or eating an apple.

StealthPolarBear · 23/02/2019 17:24

Dr squish's voice

cauliflowersqueeze · 23/02/2019 17:28

Adults who do “cute baby sneezes” with their lips - making a kind of high pitched “aaaahhh-proooo” sound. 🤨

CheddarAndCrackers · 23/02/2019 17:29

Pen tapping or clicking the top. OH will do it until I am ready to rip his head off.

fruityb · 23/02/2019 17:36

Misophonia is a thing? Oh god I have just found an explanation behind the rage certain noises can make me have.

My husband triggers it massively and I have told him that repetitive annoying noises stress me out massively.

Doors tapping in frames when not fully shut
Constant coughing
Sniffing
My husbands alarm going off again and again and the only person it wakes is me!!!

I didn’t know what Misophonia was and now I feel like I have an explanation - the stress and anger sounds can trigger in me is outrageous sometimes!

novasglowx · 23/02/2019 17:45

A slow bite into a piece of toast

ginghambox · 23/02/2019 17:46

rap "music"

PurpleDaisies · 23/02/2019 17:48

I can’t believe no one has mentioned beginner recorder players. Or beginner violinists.

moomoogalicious · 23/02/2019 17:51

Nail biting
Knuckle cracking
Using a broom on concrete

diamondofdoom · 23/02/2019 17:54

Knives/forks/spoons scraping bowls and plates, ugh!

Whatsnewpussyhat · 23/02/2019 17:58

Ticky clocks

The voices of the annoying screechy' squealy YouTubers my DD watches.

Cuntforthebutter · 23/02/2019 17:59

Another misophonia sufferer here.

People eating crunchy food
Lip smacking
Crockery sounds in cafes when tables are being cleared
Snoring
Throat clearing
Sniffing
Young children squealing
When neighbours play music and I can only hear the baseline (somehow it's better if it's loud enough to hear properly)
My dog's claws on our wood floors when they need a trim
Fences banging in the wind
(Some) windchimes. I hate the really tinkly sounding ones but quite like the wood type ones

MagicKeysToAsda · 23/02/2019 18:00

Beep

Beep

The intermittent beep of a dying smoke alarm, when it's midnight and you don't have the right battery in the house to replace it, and you're on your own with (somehow) sleeping DC. I can't decide if the beep, or the agonising wait for the next beep, is worst.

Weetabixandshreddies · 23/02/2019 18:00

Chewing
Sniffing
Breathing
Drinking
Swallowing
