I'm up early. DH is still asleep so I'm enjoying a cuppa, MNing and watching TV. DD is away for the weekend so it's just the two of us and the cats.

Later we're going skiing and then coming home for a roast dinner.

Well the cats have stopped play fighting and one of them is now snoring away. I'm having a cup of tea and then I need to get up and go to the gym. Finding it really hard to summon the motivation to go😩

Later I'll clean, wash the bedding and see if there is a new episode of Star Trek Discovery out.

wendz86 · 17/02/2019 07:35

Just at my parents house as we stayed last night . Heading back mid morning so dd1 can do gymnastics . Then going to visit friends this afternoon .

Decormad38 · 17/02/2019 07:41

Get up. Feed the rabbits. Shower. Ensure dd and her friend on sleepover get up at a suitable time and are fed. Done back in so plan to walk somewhere not sure where. Get some food shopping or alert dh to fact we need food. Not going to be an energetic day today!

Natsku · 17/02/2019 07:42

DD is still asleep (it's twenty to 10 over here), OH just got up, me and the baby have been up for two hours and he is very very grumpy, maybe ill (DD is getting over a very nasty cough and sore throat so probably the baby has it now).

Skiing sounds nice OP, downhill or cross country? Ought to send DD out skiing today really, she's got a race coming up and could do with a bit of training.

SamBaileys · 17/02/2019 07:42

I'm in bed, browsing on here and Facebook with a coffee trying not to fuming with myself that I've put on 3lb over the course of this weekend by eating crap!
I'm taking DD to the cinema later and making a roast for tea.

Twizzleegg · 17/02/2019 07:42

I'm sitting in bed with DD15 who threw up at 5.45 and now feels hot and dizzy, wondering whether to phone the hospital. Later I'm going to watch ds12 in an archery competition.
Also I'm waiting for Dh to bring me a cup of tea... Which I asked for 20mins ago! 😡

Bluesheep8 · 17/02/2019 07:43

Not a lot. Day of rest plus washing and ironing and a bit of tidying up. Went our for a few drinks in a few village pubs with DP last night followed by a Chinese takeaway. Feeling my age this morning!

Peridot1 · 17/02/2019 07:44

Still in bed. Been awake since 4ish so hoping to get back to sleep!

Nothing planned for today. Had a huge row with DH last night so there might be a ‘talk’.

He is planning on going to Sainsbury’s and taking DS out driving. I’m doing washing, vacuuming etc and some sorting stuff out.

Were supposed to be booking holiday too but that might not happen depending on ‘talk’.

MrPickles73 · 17/02/2019 07:47

Too exhausted to think about the day. I'm not sleep well at the moment. :-(

Elderflower14 · 17/02/2019 07:48

Have made the cheesecake base for lunch. Finishing it later! Now back in bed with a mug of tea and Radio 2. Dog at bottom of bed. Will walk him later and finish the cheesecake and make chicken leek and mushroom pie! ☺

JiltedJohnsJulie · 17/02/2019 07:48

DH is taking DD to cricket which will take up some of the morning and most of the afternoon. I'm going to mostly lie down and MN do a spot of tidying and cooking. DS will probably spend the day on his beloved Xbox.

Longdistance · 17/02/2019 07:48

Had a late night with dds as it’s half term, we watched a dvd and sat up eating snacks. So, I’m hoping they stay in bed a bit longer 🤞🏼
I’m off out to visit dm later, and then make an attempt to pack our bags for Paris at some point.
Dd1 will go horse riding and we’ll come home for a roast.
Dh is away on a rugby tour. He’s supposed to come home late tonight, but, we’ll see...

RolandDeschainsGilly · 17/02/2019 07:53

Me and DToddler are sat watching Merida and eating breakfast whilst DP folds laundry.

He’ll crack on with all the laundry today and entertain DToddler whilst I study. Been back at Uni 2 weeks and have had 3 pieces of coursework set with deadlines in 2 weeks so it’s spilling over into our weekends.

But he loves housework and I’m a total nerd so it works well Grin

MujosMama · 17/02/2019 07:53

Sounds like some lovely days! Mine are also still snoring away I see a pattern here 😂😂

My parents have been staying locally for the weekend but are going home today, so they'll pop in for coffee this morning. Then DH is going to finish bricking up the massive hole in the kitchen wall that he made knocking a door out (at my request) while I occupy DS - were going to the supermarket and the park.

FiveGoMadInDorset · 17/02/2019 07:55

Packing for short break to Paris
Making and packaging an order to send tomorrow

Still in bed though at the moment

Impicciona · 17/02/2019 07:56

Downhill on the beginner slopes with much better 5 year olds who make me feel inferior Grin

Jduh · 17/02/2019 07:59

DH is still in bed so I'm downstairs watching Peter Pan with DD. I will probably do a bit of crochet, batch cook and then this afternoon we are going to friends for dinner.

JudgeRulesNutterButter · 17/02/2019 07:59

DH fixed the washing machine yesterday so I will be catching up on laundry today. As soon as I get off the sofa that is. Currently watching CBeebies with DS (3).
DD (6) needs to think about her half term homework.
At some point we’re all going to have a look at our brand new allotment plot Grin
Oh and DH is planning to cook a roast this evening.

JenniferJareau · 17/02/2019 08:01

and make chicken leek and mushroom pie!☺

Sounds so lovely! 😍

I'm having Pad Thai for lunch.

Longdistance · 17/02/2019 08:04

FiveGoMadInDorset when are you off to Paris? We’re on the Eurostar Tuesday.

MsSquiz · 17/02/2019 08:05

We have our Tesco shop being delivered this morning, then are off out for lunch with the in laws for BIL's birthday. Then tonight we are going to see Lost Voice Guy at the theatre Smile

GrumpyOldMare · 17/02/2019 08:07

Going to put the washing on in a minute.

Off to Asda when it opens, for bread and milk, then McDonalds for lunch as son has vouchers for offers.

Then back home to iron work stuff for tomorrow, and do nothing fo the rest of the day. I do like having a Sunday off!

sittingonacornflake · 17/02/2019 08:08

Well me and DS (1yo) have been up since before 5am yaaaaaay. So currently trying to get him to nap so I can shower without having every toy in grabbing distance thrown at me.

Got my parents coming over this lunch time for a roast so I made the yorkies first thing and ate 2 of them with breakfast.

We are also planning on hopefully booking a holiday for September so fingers crossed!! If the weather is nice this afternoon we will probably take DS down the park for a play on the swings.

Wow that was quick, DS is snoring already. He was awake when I started tying this and I'm an extremely fast typist!

DerelictWreck · 17/02/2019 08:18

sambaileys unless you've eaten an extra 9000 calories this weekend, it'll just be water retention from salty junk food!

I'm lounging in my big clean king size bed, thinking once again how much I adore it. Then will get up and have something with bacon for breakfast. Need to iron, Hoover and clean the bathroom today, then just mooch around with roast beef planned for later.

vampirethriller · 17/02/2019 08:24

I'm still in bed with the baby asleep on my knee and the dog asleep on my feet. Going for a walk after breakfast, then a bit of cleaning, roast style dinner with sausages instead of actual roast, another long walk with the dog (she's a jack russell and needs a ridiculous amount of exercise to be bearable) and an early night because the baby is having an operation to remove an extra finger tomorrow morning.
