What's happening in your house today?

I'm up early. DH is still asleep so I'm enjoying a cuppa, MNing and watching TV. DD is away for the weekend so it's just the two of us and the cats.

Later we're going skiing and then coming home for a roast dinner.

Waiting in for midwife due between 9 and 5. So clawing at walls to go out. Will walk dog once shes been.

Friends coming around to see the new arrival. No doubt mw will turn up same time.

Had a heavy gin fuelled night last night (still paying for it now), so there is not much going on, apart from making meatballs for tea.

The rest of my time is just watching TV.
That’s it.
The meatballs smell good though 😀.

I have done none of the thing I said I would in my 8am post this morning

Everyone is ill.

DH has Flu. Actual Flu, the doctor said it and everything. DC have cough / sore throat viruses and I think DC1 might be coming down with Actual Flu as well.

I'm the least ill, so I got up with the DC. They have been reading, watching films, playdohing and not eating the food they ask for all day.

DH went back to bed after breakfast and I woke him about 2.30.

I cleaned, cooked and read with DC, then came to work.

I hope my family are ok on their own tonight!
