What are you up to today?

It’s raining here and has been for hours. DD and I are lounging in bed having screen time.

I’ve got some work to do to get a head start on the stuff I have to get through tomorrow. Also got to do some meal planning and a quick supermarket run.

Other than that a bit of ironing and tidying and then playing with DD.

What’s happening at your house today?

DDs 1, 2, 3 and 4 are about to have a swim with BIL. DD5 is snoozing. I’m doing some tidying before we head out for breakfast (meeting DSis and DN there) and go to castle with lovely big grounds for a run around. Will put on a film later in afternoon when we get home and have made a chilli to pop in. Think my parents will join us for that.

I'm recovering from surgery so it will be another day on the couch clutching my wound every time I need to cough or laugh.

DH is looking after me really well, keeping me supplied with tea and various snacks. Teenage DD is still sleeping and we'll probably watch a movie later. All in all a quiet day here.

DP and DS are downstairs eating breakfast and watching telly together, I'm still in bed as I was kept up all night with pregnancy insomnia Hmm
We're going to the dreaded IKEA at 11 (which we both actually love) and a bit of food shopping, then just a chilled afternoon at home I think. Maybe take DS to the park for a run around. He'll go happily even it if does rain later!

Today I shall mostly alternate between climbing the walls, and propping open my eyes with matchsticks, plus laundry. DD has D&V so we are quarantined, DH will be at work, toddler DS has been up.for hours every night this week and has a crappy cough so he is vile and grumpy. I feel sick at the thought of going to work tomorrow on so little sleep.

DH has gone out to the gym to get it out of the way and then is coming home to make us breakfast with lots of coffee Brew then food shopping before Sunday dinner with my parents. Should be a nice chilled one!

Lazing in bed at the moment. Two DC have rugby training this morning. Another one has a hockey match at lunch time which DH is tasked with going to. I'm taking 3 of DC swimming this afternoon.
Going to do a roast chicken dinner and then DH and DC 1 are travelling South to stay in a hotel for the night in prep for a school thing tomorrow. We never seem to stop.

I have to visit a sick relative.
I really need to go into work and get a head start to the week.
I have the food shop done so we will sit down and plan the meals for the week.
Try and do some bit of cleaning maybe sort wardrobe.

Just saw there's a big vintage clothes sale on nearby so might have a look round that then do a bit of food shopping on the way back. Try to squeeze in a bit of exercise then make sure everything is ready for tomorrow.

Dh is sleeping after working nights.

I'm full of cold and trying to muster up the energy to do breakfast.

Dd2 is watching peppa pig and ds6 is reading his book - with one eye on the tele.

Not sure what we'll do later.

DS (14) has got a friend who came yesterday and is staying again tonight as they’ve got an inset day tomorrow. They might go swimming later if they can drag themselves away from the Xbox.

DH and I are taking MIL food shopping and out for a coffee. This afternoon we have a few chores and maybe a tip run if it isn’t too wet. We are also starting to think about selling the house so we need to make a list of all the jobs/repairs we need to do and see if we can afford it!! I feel a spread sheet might be in order!

I have just got up ,
A bit of house work
A stack of printing ( if the printer feels like cooperating) for work
Some batch cooking for lunch/ tea during the week.
I have got about a pound of mince beef anybody got any ideas what I can do with it ? I am fed up with speg bol , chilli, shep' pie and curry .

Colouring with, reading to and waiting on DS1, arranging school runs and childcare for other DC and probably spending a good few hours in the sensory room drinking luke warm tea again ... DS is in hospital

Currently still in bed. Was aiming to have a proper lie in, but have been awake since 7. It's ok though, as I got almost 8 hours sleep, which is unheard of for me! Grin

After I get up, it's coffee and TV for a bit, then I'll make a full English for everyone. Then walk the dogs, then DD wants to make flapjacks, then pub for an hour, then roast pork, then TV and bed.

Just waking u here, Dh got up with baby at 6.30 and let me sleep in as baby has a cold and I've been awake most of the night with him. A run of nights with little sleep and I'm feeling it this morning.

Breakfast together shortly, then Dh will go off to volunteer at a local group. Homework and spellings for older DC, ironing for me. Later we will watch a film together then have roast beef for dinner. Glass if plonk before a very early night.

Beautiful outside here. Rain stopped sometime between 6 and 8, sunshine replaced it.

ANGIE Home made burgers?
We have to plan our garden. Plant hedging etc to might go to a local garden centre (really reasonable- he works from his home)

Then dinner and sort uniforms. Then at is taking dc to his parents while I go to the cinema to see mary queen of Scots.
