I was just thinking about a conversation DP, his male friend & I had last summer.
They said I had ‘the power ‘ but were unable to define what they meant.
They said some women were beguiling & just had something about them.
For the record I’m just an ordinary, late 40s woman, sometimes funny & sometimes goofy 😂

They were probably referring to Naomi Alderman’s futuristic novel in which ‘The Power’ is an ability girls and women develop to deliver lethal electric shocks out of their fingers.

I thought you meant the 1990 single "The Power" by Snap. I don't have that. Sara Cox always seems to play it a lot though.
