If you could do anything for a living...

What would it be? Money, skills etc no object.

Currently daydreaming about what I would do with my life if I didn't actually have to earn a living. I would love to own a little shop selling wedding dresses or jewellery or something like that. I could just potter about in my shop, talking to customers and looking at beautiful things all day. Anyone else want to share what they'd rather be doing?!

I'd like a little consignment shop (second hand clothes/bags) plus local arts and crafts for sale.

GottenGottenGotten · 24/01/2019 12:49

Bubble bath tester.
Cake taste tester.
Dog cuddle.

I'm not sure any of them pay well though...

Strokethefurrywall · 24/01/2019 13:27

Run a new age/spiritual retreat with a new age book store and crystal shop onsite where I can waft around sounding breathy and ethereal, saying namaste all day with a beatific smile on my face.

Undercoverbanana · 24/01/2019 13:29

Sleep. Or run.

I am a person of extremes!

Thecomfortador · 24/01/2019 13:31

Concert violinist. Or ballerina. Or duvet tester. Either would be fine.

SurfnTerfFantasticmissfoxy · 24/01/2019 13:32

Novelist or high-end interior designer. Living in Amsterdam or Stavanger or Edinburgh 😊

pinkmagic1 · 24/01/2019 13:34

Equine vet

Racecardriver · 24/01/2019 13:34

Being a zookeeper would be pretty cool. If I didn’t have to work I would definitely volunteer at the zoo I frequented as a child at least one day a week.

Racecardriver · 24/01/2019 13:35

Oh, or concert pianist. Or a professional thinker (the city I grew up in would get s new one each year, I still don’t really understand what they are for but a cool job title).

Metaplasia · 24/01/2019 13:41

A surgeon! I've just started uni so hopefully I'll get halfway there and be some sort of doctor. After that, open a retirement home for dogs.

EssentialHummus · 24/01/2019 13:49

Professional Rottie Cuddler? I actually like my job - I write CVs for a living and it's a good mix of money and helping people, with the right level of client interaction for me and enough time to faff.

ErickBroch · 24/01/2019 13:50

Pilot. Used to always daydream about it but never knew how to get into it.

BrieAndOatcakes · 24/01/2019 13:51

Artist. Living on the edge of a cool city or in a village near a cool city, with a studio in my garden.
