In winter I grate half an apple and add cinnamon and mix that in. Should say I make my porridge with water though

Milk and marmalade.

Milk on top then I microwave it. A teaspoon of marmalade before I eat it. Lovely.

Big dollop of nutellla!
Not particularly nutritious or healthy but it’s bloody lovely!

FuzzyShadowChatter · 22/01/2019 22:17

I'm told mine are weird, but what I usually put in my porridge is a mix of:
ground seed mixes
an egg or two
lots of salsa (I like salsa in most things though and I get a kick from saying I'm putting vegetables in my breakfast).

MrsSchadenfreude · 22/01/2019 22:18

Golden syrup.

missyB1 · 22/01/2019 22:19

rainbowlou · 22/01/2019 22:22

A teaspoonful of mincemeat (as in mince pies...not meat!)

Moodycoo · 22/01/2019 22:22

Salt 🧂

Cailleach · 22/01/2019 22:38

Sultanas
Muesli - if so it's pre-soaked over night in milk in the fridge
Apple, diced and microwaved before hand, and cinnamon
Pear and ginger
Homemade apple and sultana preserve
Hazlenuts
Golden syrup
Homemade cherry jam alone or with flaked almonds
Blackberries, picked in autumn and frozen in small bags
Agave syrup
Maple syrup
Leftover mincemeat from Christmas

Finnished · 22/01/2019 22:39

Cottage cheese - to give protein
Any berries - less carb than apple/banana
Or sometimes just knob of butter and cinnamon Grin

Whatdoyouknowwhenyouknownowt · 22/01/2019 22:40

Protein powder, and a selection of things like maple syrup, cream, peanut butter, honey, fruit and a sprinkle of flaxseed/gojiberry powder.
