Which is the bubbliest bubble bath you’ve ever used?

Picture this. A 5 star hotel room to yourself. A huuuuge roll top bath. A glass of cold champagne/gin/alternative drink Grin in your hand. You’re going to run a bath and pour a whole bottle of bubble bath in there to make it like the movies... now, which bubble bath are you putting in?

Molton Brown is the tits. You only need a tiny amount and it smells wonderful

ThisWayDown · 20/01/2019 00:49

Yes to Molten Brown. This thread has reminded me I haven’t had any in ages - uselessly get some for Christmas.

The only other I use regularly is Badedas. Love the smell. You are remiss to not try it OP, I know it’s pricier but are you going to do your contest properly or not? Wink

TinselAndKnickers · 20/01/2019 09:10

@ThisWayDown right that's it you! It's on the bloody list. Angry better be worth it!! Grin

Right. Think of all the plastic you will be buying. Buy a bar of soap.

Im just as bad though Sad

half joking

brizzledrizzle · 20/01/2019 11:40

here comes the Bubble Off!!!

Please don't let Paul Hollywood in the room! Grin

This could be a dual purpose challenge - put the shower on, walk away and hey presto; bubbles to relax in and bubbles to clean the bathroom floor.

ThisWayDown · 20/01/2019 11:46

@TinselAndKnickers Grin you won't regret it ... and if you do, don't come looking for me Grin

FaFoutis · 20/01/2019 11:50

Bubbliest is not the only factor. 70p bubblebath would completely spoil the experience for me. It has to be posh and bubbly.

TinselAndKnickers · 20/01/2019 11:59

@YourFly the bubble bath that I don't use will be given to my friends, I know it's not ideal as it's still buying it but I am relatively "low-plastic" in other areasSmile (it is also in the name of science!Grin)

TinselAndKnickers · 20/01/2019 12:00

@brizzledrizzle you could say that it's a...... double bubble.

OP posts:
ThisWayDown · 20/01/2019 12:01

yy to posh and bubbly.

No Mr Matey for me.

2019Reasons · 20/01/2019 13:12

I like my 70p bubble bath, I’ll have you know! Grin. It means I can pour generously and enjoy the bubbliest bubble bath regularly .

TinselAndKnickers · 20/01/2019 14:11

I think I might get a cheap bubble bath, and mix it with a posher nice smelling one which I will then ration forever Grin best of both worlds!

OP posts:
brizzledrizzle · 20/01/2019 14:18

Buy this as it's lovely and it comes in a glass bottle.

TinselAndKnickers · 21/01/2019 20:22

@brizzledrizzle the link isn't working for me - page not found! What's it called please? Smile

OP posts:
TinselAndKnickers · 21/01/2019 20:23

Update:

Tried Imperial Leather mermazing (or whatever it's called) tonight and it was very disappointing. Should I LTB?

OP posts:
brizzledrizzle · 22/01/2019 08:39

@tinselandknickers it's Neal's Yard foam bath, Waitrose sell it. It's pricey at £13 but you need a couple of drops and a shower head and it lasts months.

ThisWayDown · 22/01/2019 11:35

Re Imperial - Yes LTB.

TinselAndKnickers · 22/01/2019 12:09

There is no Waitrose near me Sad I may hunt one down. Looks good though!

Right. Imperial Leather - I will be leaving the bubbles NOW

YourFly · 23/01/2019 06:57

Dove bubble bath - Very dissapointing result.

Disclaimer - I have had it in my bathroom for 2+ years though.

Sorry BBs (Bubble Bitches)

TinselAndKnickers · 23/01/2019 10:37

BBs Grin love that! Ah perhaps those 2 years have dampened its bubbly-ness.

Friday is payday, and so Saturday will be the day my great Bubble-Off officially begins! Get your final suggestions in now folks, it's a show you won't want to miss!

ThisWayDown · 23/01/2019 12:28

I may join you in trying and rating some out.

We need criteria. I suggest bubble quantity, scent, skin-friendliness, eco-friendliness, value for money, luxuriant-feel-ness.

TinselAndKnickers · 23/01/2019 13:38

Yes! And the overall winner. Oooh can't wait Grin

MintyCedric · 23/01/2019 14:46

Champneys is gorgeous but I've not tried the latest fragrances
