Which is the bubbliest bubble bath you’ve ever used?

Picture this. A 5 star hotel room to yourself. A huuuuge roll top bath. A glass of cold champagne/gin/alternative drink Grin in your hand. You’re going to run a bath and pour a whole bottle of bubble bath in there to make it like the movies... now, which bubble bath are you putting in?

Essential Waitrose Bubble Bath Chamomile

So many bubbles, and crazy cheap.

MissMarplesKnitting · 17/01/2019 23:01

I love the Waitrose chamomile too.

Amazing for the price.

Pinnacular · 17/01/2019 23:09

Used some Avon sensitive in a bath for my children at my parents house. Didn't use that much but the bubbles were comical. They lasted through a long bath and well after the water was drained too.

RacheyCat · 17/01/2019 23:58

L'Occitane's lavender bath is obscenely bubbly, and comes in an aluminium bottle, so better for the environment than your typical plastic container.

MamaHechtick · 18/01/2019 00:07

If the bath has a shower bit on it, run it with that, and if you angle the shower slightly under the water it almost gives a whipping effect to the bubbles and gives you the bubbliest bath ever. I do this for my DC's and some nights I can't see them for bubbles!

CoffeeWithMyOxygen · 18/01/2019 07:48

Definitely Matey but it’s got to be the pink mermaid one!

MeetOnTheledge · 18/01/2019 07:49

Lush bubble bar, the Blue Skies one. Smells amazing too.

TinselAndKnickers · 18/01/2019 09:57

Oooh good trick about the shower head! Why have I never thought of that before?! I'm going on my bubble bath shopping spree on payday so keep 'em coming Grin

If you are in a hard water area, your hotel bubble bath needs to be in a soft water area as it will be much much bubblier.

Our water is soft and when I am using hard water, on holiday or away for work or whatever, I always notice how crap the shampoo or bath bubbles are.

But don't go as far as putting the jacuzzi on with your bubble bath, that would be a step too far, believe me.

avinitall · 18/01/2019 11:00

If you're in a hard water area use a handful of basic household soda crystals to get more bubbles.

Clarins for me please

QforCucumber · 18/01/2019 11:01

I came to say Matey - Specifically the Pirate one

SauvingnonBlanketyBlanc · 18/01/2019 11:10

The 45p "copy" of Radox is very bubbly

wannabebetter · 18/01/2019 11:22

Badedas all day & night! Pricey but Soooo worth it, it is my guilty pleasure and NOBODY else is allowed to use it Grin

ChameleonCircuit · 18/01/2019 13:49

Lush Comforter bar. Bubbles for days!

HowlsMovingBungalow · 18/01/2019 13:51

Badedas is used here too ( with a handful of epsom salts ).

daisydalrymple · 18/01/2019 14:01

Radox purple one, relax or blue one, sleep easy. Also find dove and imperial leather lovely too.
Absolutely love the smell of clarins relax, but always find the bubbles disintegrate after 20mins or so.

squirrelnutkins1 · 18/01/2019 14:17

Oh wow, tried the shower head trick and it was brill! I used Aldi's copy of radox so with mr matey I think it'd be even better!
Best tip in ages!! Thanks girls x

1fluffydoodle · 18/01/2019 18:37

username7000 · 18/01/2019 18:42

MyGastIsFlabbered · 18/01/2019 18:44

I love the smell of Badedas. I had a Sanctuary one that also smelt divine...was gutted when I finished it.

EustaciaPieface · 18/01/2019 18:45

Oo, I’m going to try the shower trick! Thanks @MamaHechtick

GloatyMcGloatface · 18/01/2019 18:48

avinitall Do you mean bicarb of soda that is used in bath bombs?

Soda crystals are used to clean drains, toilets, burnt on food, & to clean washing machines. They have quite a few warnings about how harmful it is to skin & eyes.
