Anyone still around from the olden days ??

i think I joined when Ds was around 9 months old, so 2003, and then stopped posting around 2013/14 ish maybe, not too sure.

Seems like a life time ago and was just sat here wondering if anyone from then was still around, or if we all buggered off.

I was thinking the other day I'd been here over 10 years now, 2008 I joined when going through miscarriages, I got some fabulous support back then.
I namechange a bit now, can't even remember my original name.

I joined in 2009 after another site I used closed. Can't believe it's been 10 years. I mainly lurk though, have only just got the courage to post in the last few months.

It's very different now to when I joined. I recognised posters back then, got to know people but now it seems so big & slow. Active threads used to change quicker & posts were more entertaining and happy.

Always though Pagwatch was lovely, liked Stratters and in awe of AnyFucket.

I miss pics of Terry Wogan’s cock. Bless his soul.

I’ve been around for years under different names. There was a time when there were very recognisable posters, but that is long gone. I am not very invested here anymore. It is just a source of entertainment tbh.

Joined early 2008 when I had hyperemisis expecting DS.
Been here ever since. Had lots of parenting support and some laughs along the way. Been to some meet ups.

I bought a lot of baby clothes and a buggy from the buy/sell boards, from Janx, MaxyBrown and Lacksadaisycal.

Regular old names I can recall are sueperblybuilt (sp), atyourcervix, stratters, trinityrhino, laqueen, ovo, scottishmummy, derek? I'm sure others will come to me.

I seem to recall a poster who always came out with a story about giving birth but not knowing that she was pregnant, turned out to be a lie if I remember rightly. It's bugging me that I can't remember her name. Strandedbear? Or have I got confused?

Yes I joined really for the SN boards and I'd just had another baby at 43! Thank god for MN. I haven't visited the SN section for a very long time

I joined in about 2003, I googled is PC Plum gay, ended up on a filthy thread and knew I had found my people. Grin
Another poster who was here the same time as me, (not for me to mention her name) comes and stays with me twice a year.

She is one of my middle of the night calls where I could I say I have a shovel and patio, please come.

And she would. Grin And I would do the same for her.

Was there a secret breakaway group to another site or something? I know folk were a bit upset, I was just bemused.
