i think I joined when Ds was around 9 months old, so 2003, and then stopped posting around 2013/14 ish maybe, not too sure.

Seems like a life time ago and was just sat here wondering if anyone from then was still around, or if we all buggered off.

I joined in 2007 during a boring night at work.

I joined 2008 (different username) posted once, lurked for a bit then didn’t log on again until 2015 - no idea why not. I remember Boxing Day when I’d not long joined, reading a thread about what dishes people had cooked and served for Christmas, and being completely in awe of the implausibly high and slightly unbelievable standard. Haven’t read anything like it on here in the years since, so we’re either a whole other bunch these days, or just getting slummier

Tulips Strattors was banned after a run in with HQ about a dodgy poster.

I was on a Mumsnet subreddit with her , she also posted a very funny picture of a cockroach (called Milton ) , referring to HQ ( funny not nasty) and Justine was very very miffed, she hadn’t been back since afaik.

2001 I think, when I was pregnant. Posted sporadically, busy days and nights then. Didnt post for years e-mail hacked so had to change it and could not recall my original name...

The nastiness means it is not as much fun as it used to be, gawd I sound old now.

Since 2004 off and on but I've never stuck to a username. Do people still post that bloody link to the bat? I've not seen it in years. Can't help but feel that it was the original Rick Roll.

I'm another of the 2006 influx - I still dip in and out, and still really value MN but it's a whole different world now. Only once in a blue moon do I recognise a user name these days.

I joined in 2006. Have had loads of name changes in recent years, and a year or two off, but am back to an old name at the moment. I used to find Mumsnet endlessly interesting, not so much any more. But it's still the absolute best place to come for specific advice when Google fails you.
