i think I joined when Ds was around 9 months old, so 2003, and then stopped posting around 2013/14 ish maybe, not too sure.

Seems like a life time ago and was just sat here wondering if anyone from then was still around, or if we all buggered off.

Been here since DS was born, he’s 20 this year!

I joined in Feb 04 when I found out I was pregnant with ds1.

Was on a lot when kids were tiny and dip in and out now.

I've been around since about 2005/2006. I started with a wet 'DDsNameMum' type NN, before picking a non-dis world Sir TP inspired name at a point where quite a few did as a sort of tribute when we heard of his dementia diagnosis. Then later when there was something of a fashion for dragons I got this one. I've got a couple of other NNs I occasionally use in specific circumstances.

I never knew what BIWI stood for before, that's nice to know.

I used to be able to parody Cod's bloody annoying unique posting style ... wouldn't be possible now with spellchecking!

I saw a pic of the bat recently ! Can't remember which thread now.

I made a 'portal' to it recently but can't remember where or why (I don't need much excuse)

I've been here on and off since my eldest was about 2. He turned 20 yesterday. I've had lots of names, I was misterwolf for ages though.

I am around under other names. I try to only post factual things or ask questions. But Still getting yelled at. Plus ça change.

RedTartanLass - I was 2004 rather than 2005. Although I was also on Nov 2005 with ds2!!

2003 here and have never stopped checking in. I credit mumsnet with having made me far more open minded and ready to challenge views I disagree with or that I want to understand more of. So many genuine laughs through the years.

I have around half a dozen or so usernames that I dip in and out of every couple of months or so, according to my mood, but I've been posting regularly since 2006 I think.
However, do I win the thread if I say that I remember Justine (who I vaguely know) coming up with the idea to start it all off?

And who was the MNetter who got knicker elastic from her MIL for her xmas? Think she also posted about the last time her dm ever cuddled her, after she'd had slapped her hard. The image of the younger MNetter looking at the weal marks and crying never actually left me.

Lurked in 2005, joined in 2006. Never left, only name changed seasonally and a couple of times for 'outy' posts.

Me, since having Dd in 2003 too. Tbh I've never really left. I lurk more than anything but over the past decade have got divorced, kids have gone from little to teens. I've done internet dating and met somebody so the relationship board has come in handy. I've moved house a few times too so property board was good to vent on.

Love mn but it has changed a lot!

Here since 2007, hardly recognise anyone anymore as the site has got so big and have come across at lest 2 other Sauvignons recently.
