i think I joined when Ds was around 9 months old, so 2003, and then stopped posting around 2013/14 ish maybe, not too sure.

Seems like a life time ago and was just sat here wondering if anyone from then was still around, or if we all buggered off.

Can't remember exact date I joined 2004? 15 years ago.

There are loads of posters here now who have been here a lot longer than me.

I remember SP who later changed her name to a cartoon character whose name I forget. Her posts were so witty. And then she was driven off here by a real life troll. Sorry if this has been mentioned upthread already, I've not managed all 11 pages of it.

I've been around forever. The first thread I contributed to was a mother looking for reassurance she was justified in opening her teenage daughters mail because she was so excited about her exam results and couldn't wait til she got home from school.

I was all like yabu.

Loads of posters said yeah whatevs, we all open each others mail here, nobody cares.

It was my first insight into how different other people actually are to me.

I don't know about KnickersOnMaHead getting married or being a witness I just have memories of her being a funny and frank poster. All of her posts have been deleted now.

I had my arse quite rightly handed to me when I said I hadn't realised people paid for council houses. It had genuinely never occurred to me before.

I do sometimes think about changing back to my original name. Hate this name but too lazy to think of a witty new one.
Other names from when I first joined - Blu, Galaxy, Mars ( or was it Marslady or were they two separate people?), JanH (think she was a moldie), Lou33 (prob also a moldie), has anyone mentioned Custardo?
I remember Lavender was one of the first ‘troll’ types on here - her bullshitting was not tolerated from what I remember and pretty sure she was hounded out.
