i think I joined when Ds was around 9 months old, so 2003, and then stopped posting around 2013/14 ish maybe, not too sure.

Seems like a life time ago and was just sat here wondering if anyone from then was still around, or if we all buggered off.

Oh and Thomcat with her gorgeous dd who must be about 18 now .

Joined 2008, somehow got through a whole year of motherhood before I discovered the place! I think the hacking and the antics of the daily mail have both led to a lot more name changing, it’s not safe otherwise imo.

I joined 2007 and like most, catch up now and then. I remember worralibertyand Mrsjay - always sensible as I remember. And Xenia. Havent seen any of them for a while, though I have only really been back on for a while. I m8ght just take a look in classics now....

I've been here since 2093. I mostly post under this name with a few changes for sensitive / potentially identifying threads. Don't know why I bother name changing to be honest, I am not in any way a known/recognised poster and know no one on here in RL.

I am also useless at recognising prolific posters under a name change. Even when everyone else does straight away.

One of my favourite thread titles to this day was "unexpected item in the shagging area"....was that any of you?

Sorry I haven’t RTFT but has anyone mentioned or remembers LaQueen who had always done things bigger and better than anybody else?

I'm pretty sure worra is around, and Xenia definitely is - she was posting under other names for a while but is back to being Xenia again (she has DC same age as mine so we've been on the same ongoing education threads for a while)

LaQueen had a very unique posting style- I thought her observations were v funny but she wasn’t everyone’s cup of tea. Some people thought she was very boastful, but I thought she was capable of being very self deprecating.

Xenia has definitely been around in the last few months.

I'm ashamed to say it was the Daily Fail that brought me here, I think in 2007 - they used to do a round up on interesting MN stuff in F email once a week, iirc. "Hmm, that looks worth a gander" - a gazillion hours lost in here since then.

I rarely recognise name changers either, so I’ve had a few ’Oh it’s YOU’ moments on this thread. Very cool.

I used this name for years and I miss being ‘me’. But after the hacking etc I started name changing frequently.

I’m most astounded by the fact that ISBN is SEVEN 😳

I name changed a while ago but have been around for years. Since DS was 4 I think. He is 17 now.

I was at the famous Xmas meet up just before Mouldies. Went away for Xmas and came back to the fallout. Spent hours reading to catch up and find out what had gone on!

I've been loving mumsnet since 2002 but have been through a fair few name changes.

I joined in 2008 thinking I could use me wealth of experience as a retired SENCo and parent of a teenager with AS to help people o n the DEN boards. Very quickly disabused of that notion! I had no idea that teachers, and especially SENCos, were the enemy.
I have left and reregistered more times than I can remember.
