Christmas weight gain. Anyone else ready to face the music?

I'm gearing up to getting on the scales! Not emotionally ready yet! I'm thinking 4kg since my last weigh-in, but I will shift them fairly quickly if I start running again...

1kg, so about 2lbs on. Not bad considering I've eaten about 3 times what I normally do and done zero exercise for a week...

I’m refusing to weigh myself. I can tell by my clothes that it’s bad. I started back on healthy eating yesterday- kind of hit that wall where Christmas food/sweets were no longer appealing. I just need to stay motivated (so much easier said than done).

I put on 7lbs in three days. Impressive.

I have managed to get rid of 3 of the blighters by cutting down on the crap and alcohol a bit and increasing water and veg. Hopefully the other 4 will disappear after New Year. Then I just need to get on with losing that elusive few stone I keep meaning to lose.

Weighed in this morning. 1lb on. Unusually for me I haven’t over indulged at all this Christmas. I’ve been at work almost every day including Christmas Day and have managed to avoid temptation. Now I just need to shift the 5 stones of extra weight I’ve been carrying around for the past couple of years or so 😫

8lb since 21st Dec. Back to normal eating from Tuesday and hopefully it’ll come off. Then I can work on the other 2 stone that also needs to do one.

I was 5lbs heavier 4 days ago. It could be worse now, but I haven’t checked. I’ve eaten so much over Xmas, including a whole box of shortbread to myself. I need to stop! What is everyone doing with all the leftover biscuits and chocolates etc? I have another tin of shortbread that I daren’t open....

Im too scared to look! I also can tell from my clothes and face its bad! Back to work tomorrow so ill be back in routine.... hopefully!

I've gladly let go of the reigns to be honest. It's been blissful to just switch off the whole mindful eating I follow for the other 51 weeks of the year! Smile

2 or 3 lb gain. Most of that will be food making it’s way through my system, plus a bit of water retention. I’ll go back to serious LCHF in the next couple of days and will shave that gain off in a couple of weeks.

I'm nit stepping on the scales. I can feel it. Just gonna blindly start to eat a bit healthier once the chocs have gone and hope that it melts away 😂

8lbs since around the 20th Dec! Blush So many boozy catch ups. My diet's been wine, cheese, carbs & sugar!
Also at that 'meh' wall with all the food, got chicken & salad for todays lunch then back on the wagon 100% from 2nd Jan.
Need to hide all the sweets!
