I'm giving myself until the end of January to shift the Christmas (and pre Christmas) gain, if I can't get my act together I'm going back to weight watchers to be weighed (ritually humiliated) in FebruaryBlush

cuppycakey · 30/12/2018 14:07

I have avoided the scales so far but will have a sneaky peak tomorrow.

It will not be a happy experience Xmas Sad

User10002000 · 30/12/2018 14:09

Two pounds on which I'm quite surprised with...

CantstandmLMs · 30/12/2018 14:09

I'm not ready to face the music. What's the point with New Year's Eve tomorrow? I'll be suffering the rest of the week after that so may as well start Monday the 7th 😩

I did do an hour long walk yesterday after doing absolutely nothing for 2 weeks and I'll do the same today. But food wise I'm afraid I'm not ready to reign back quite yet.

I am someone who does a 6.30 am circuits class every week too but right now. Nope!

Nacreous · 30/12/2018 14:12

Miraculously it was 1/2 a pound, which was about 4 less than I was expecting. I tried to just be a little bit mindful of what I was eating, and it clearly worked. After tonight it's back on the wagon properly for the stone I still need to lose.

Theromanempire · 30/12/2018 14:19

I'm getting on the scales tomorrow and dreading it. I am hoping for 7lbs or less but my clothes are telling me it might be more Confused

I lost 3 stone last year so I know I will lose it again (And hopefully quickly) and I have bloody enjoyed the last week or so!

Was planning on starting my diet again on Wed but can't wait that long so going to start tomorrow which will now have to include a tee-total NYE Hmm

MrsJBaptiste · 30/12/2018 14:21

I've eaten nothing but carbs for two weeks now which can be seen as a) stupid, as I've been low carbing all year and got down to a good weight or b) fine, as you have to have at least a couple of weeks a year where you just enjoy yourself.

We don't own any scales but all my clothes are decidedly tighter everywhere. I'm at the hospital on 11th Jan though where I'll be weighed so am hoping to be back to normal by then! I reckon 2 weeks of virtually no carbs and long gym workouts and I'll be back to normal ☺

RaiderOfTheKitchenCupboard · 30/12/2018 14:41

I’ve put on about 5lbs and there are still unopened chocolates and biscuits, half a Christmas cake, etc.

DrMadelineMaxwell · 30/12/2018 15:16

I have booked an exercise class for Wednesday.

And afternoon tea too

buggerthebotox · 30/12/2018 15:18

I'm disgusted with myself. I necked a whole bottle of Baileys on Xmas day..Blush.

I'm too ashamed to go to the gym..

Back on the wagon now though. Always find winter hard.

Autumnchill · 30/12/2018 15:26

5lbs on so far. Got tomorrow and NYD to get through then I'm on it!

HairyStorm · 30/12/2018 15:48

Tried the scales for the first time in a fortnight today. Only up a pound. Which would be marvellous were it not a result of my stupid body deciding lactose intolerance would make an amazing early Christmas present. I'm supposed to be carting an extra half-stone of cheese around by this point in the festivities, dammit!

dementedma · 30/12/2018 15:53

will weigh in tomorrow. thought we were at the end of crap food in the house and just made some healthy veggie soup but dd1 has just brought two boxes of mince pies home because they were on sale. grrrrr!
wonder if they will freeze?

Crunchymum · 30/12/2018 15:55

I've purposely cried off my weigh-in on the 2nd as I don't want to see the scales!! Will go the week after, so that gives me 8 days of healthy eating to see where I'm at Grin

DaisyDreaming · 30/12/2018 15:55

I don’t want to face it. I’m typing this while eating rolls with copious amounts of Brie!

calmsealife · 30/12/2018 15:57

6 pounds for me and there is still so much left to eat! I'm starting on the 7th when I'm back at the work and the kids are back at school. How much damage can I do in a week lol.

AlwaysDancing1234 · 30/12/2018 15:57

I don’t have scales (as got a bit obsessed with them at one point) but my trousers feel tight so I need to stop eating Christmas crap food ... just as soon as that box of celebrations has been eaten Grin

DrMadelineMaxwell · 30/12/2018 16:05

I do ww and weigh in on a Thurs. I skipped this week because a) it's Christmas and I'm not being careful over Christmas and b) I forgot what day it was.

I will weigh myself at home on Thurs and decide whether to go to the meeting based on the results! I may prefer a week of back on track before officially facing the music.

2anddone · 30/12/2018 16:08

2lb on since 15th December which includes a trip away and Christmas, not too upset about that at all. Not monitoring what I eat until Monday 7th January as still lots of events/get together a to get through!! Hoping it won't be more than 5lb when I weigh in Saturday

Mainchanger · 30/12/2018 16:12

7lb 😫
Will probably be more than that when I weigh myself on 2nd Jan, then I'll work on shifting it.

ThunderOnlyHappens · 30/12/2018 16:16

A 1lb on, which is better than expected. My job is very full on, with about 12000-15000 steps a day so that should come off very soon if I stop eating chocolate!

Hippywannabe · 30/12/2018 16:17

I haven't weighed! I lost 3 stones last year but I think 1 has gone on since October's half term holiday (AI). I have been staying with DS2 and DDIL for a week with brand new DGS and will be here for another week. Definitely won't have gained as much as in previous years as there isn't the amount here as I would have at home. In fact, I haven't had a single alcoholic drink for about 4 weeks!
However, I go home next Sunday then back to work on the Monday. My plan is to have a couple of days of treats then and a bottle of wine then start back on the healthy WW eating again . My new bullet journal awaits for tracking!

fuzzyface · 30/12/2018 16:23

Impossible to put on that much fat in such a short time ladies!
Most will be water retention. One/two days of healthy eating and lots of water, maybe even a fast day and pounds will shed off.
1 or 2 lbs at most will be actually weight gain.

Aridane · 30/12/2018 16:25

1 stone in last couple of weeks

Aridane · 30/12/2018 16:26

(DonI wn Sad?)
