Looking for some inspiration...

Is there something that is relatively inexpensive (£100 max) that has had an good impact on your quality of life?

I have vouchers that need used.

Turtle Doves fingerless mitts
Kindle
Soup maker
Dropper post on my mtb (I appreciate this is rather specialist!)
Milk delivery
Blundstone boots (got mine in a sale!)! - I wear them with almost everything

Shameless place mark.

DwayneDibbly · 28/12/2018 16:43

Following! Anything that can de-crumple my life is my go-to for 2019.

An electric over blanket it's a fleece throw you can plug in the wall and heats up

ShadyLady53 · 28/12/2018 17:12

Sounds ridiculous but sellotape dispensers out of Poundland and Homebase Bargains made wrapping gifts so much easier than having to find the end of the tape and cut.

My NorthFace knee length black down parka made the walk across the cold campus I work in bearable. Cost me under $100 in Florida.

Retinol, Vitamin C Serums and Hyalauronic Acid out of TK Maxx gave me lovely skin so less effort needed to get out the door and better self esteem!

Wool duvet (usually > £100, but often less in clearance)

A meat thermometer, no more over cooked meat!

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 28/12/2018 17:55

Thanks, Rita> I managed to get one with 30% off in the Moleskine shop today. It's a thing of beauty.

greenpop21 · 28/12/2018 19:06

F&B paint in a dark and moody shade has cost £78 but made all of my furniture, art and everything else in the room look fab-u-lous dahling. Despite not being a large room, it doesn't look dark, it looks luxurious.

Alexandra2018 · 28/12/2018 19:09

I've got so much to buy now!

April2020mom · 28/12/2018 19:15

My alarm clock. When I was at university I got one from my mom. It has gotten me out of several potential sticky situations. I’m not a morning person.

GrimDamnFanjo · 28/12/2018 19:44

Fabulous suggestions here!

HarrySnotter · 28/12/2018 19:47

An Instant Pot. Best thing ever.

Alwayscheerful · 28/12/2018 20:21

@BoswelliaGoldMyrrh could you link to your grinder please?

dementedma · 28/12/2018 20:22

memory foam mattress topper, about £80. Best thing ever.

NutRoastNancy · 28/12/2018 20:26

A proper tea pot for loose leaf tea. I don’t like normal tea with milk sugar etc but I now love white, green and camomile tea out of this.

redexpat · 28/12/2018 20:48

Towel turban from poundland.

BoswelliaGoldMyrrh · 28/12/2018 20:54

Always... sure, here is the link. I have the first generation of this, it has been updated to make it easier to adjust the grind size setting. The guy that makes them makes them in his shed in Edinburgh in small batches, so they often go out of stock for a while, and demand outstrips supply so get it while it's in stock!

Another vote for thin UniQlo thermal tops.

They've made all the difference this winter.

scrivette · 28/12/2018 21:09

I was going to say my White Company boot style slippers from the White Company. I never used to wear slippers but I have lived in them since last Christmas.

For the kitchen, silicone spatulas as they clean cake mixtures from bowls so easily (for me to eat!)

Or an Echo Dot, great fun.
