I've just discovered that Prosecco and Advocaat makes a lovely cocktail. (I think I'll call it Snowball Royale).

And when you've finished the prosecco, Lidl 's Strawberry & Banana Smoothie also makes a lovely cocktail with Advocaat.

You can have Advokaat over ice cream as well.

Any lightweight suggestions for Kahlua? I bought some, remembering I quite liked a white russian when I was young... can't do it now though! Too strong.

So what can I do with either the Kahlua or Vodka that isn't so alcoholic? My usual is a shandy...

Seriously, though (), assuming that Kahlua is like Tia Maria, try drizzling it on full fat Greek yogurt or ice-cream.

Mind you, Tia Maria is very nice with Advocaat.

Kahlua is delicious in chocolate milk. It makes it taste richer and more chocolatey somehow.

I imagine it would be good in hot chocolate too, which seems appropriate after swimming. Although probably not for the kids

Vodka Jellies. One teaspoon is less than a teaspoon of vodka, but feels like a heck of a lot more! To a lightweight, anyway

Numptymum adding a Baileys is out of the question.

Vodka jelly sounds alright, but DH is veggie and veggie jelly is hard to come by. So then would be me, and jelly on my own. Or fending off DS, who is mad about jelly.

The suggestions for Kahlua and ice cream or hot choc sound ace. Sounds a bit like Affogatto, mmmm....

Next time, I'll buy Advocaat and prosecco!

@NumptyMu. If you have Kahlua and vodka you have an espresso martini right there.
2 parts vodka
1 part Kahlua
Shot of espresso - strong instant is an OK sub.
Put into shaker with lots of ice and shake the BEJEEZUS out of it until all the ice has melted - this is what makes it frothy on top
Serve in a martini glass. Lush.
