I've just discovered that Prosecco and Advocaat makes a lovely cocktail. (I think I'll call it Snowball Royale).

And when you've finished the prosecco, Lidl 's Strawberry & Banana Smoothie also makes a lovely cocktail with Advocaat.

Oh, yes, and I'm a lightweight

And my DS's partner makes an amazing winter Cosmopolitan...

Add a measure of Baileys to that and you have a Vodka Espresso. It's the perfect hair of the dog.

Driving today, so no cocktails until tonight. A different prosecco chilling in the fridge.

We ate the Christmas pudding last night. Possibly a mistake after all that cocktail-tasting. I may have over-fed it somewhat, plus I got carried away with the flambéing. Well, the book said to pour flaming rum over - it didn't say how much! Flaming pudding flaming flamed for five flaming minutes I served it with ice-cream and whipped cream drizzled with, yes, Advocaat.

Can you get sozzled on Christmas pudding? I think so 

BTW Waitrose Coconut and Lime ice cream (the one in the black tub), whipped cream and Advocaat: A-MA-ZING!
