Boxing Day plans?

Morning world, hope you're all ok.

Today im full of a cold and been up hours already, tidied everything away and got sorted so now I'm going to have a quick shower get into some fresh PJs and then snuggle under my throw and watch something easy on TV. DD is playing quietly, DP is relaxing with something he got yesterday so I'm hoping the whole day stays just like this. We'll have some leftovers for food later and nibble on what ever takes our fancy around it.

Well I’m about to roll out of bed after a very nice lie in and take the dogs down to the beach to meet some friends for a Boxing Day walk. OH is working today so I’ll come home and chill out with films etc until he’s home later. Then having a bit of a buffet tea!

Lazy morning, about to have a bath while dh plays Red Dead and the kids are playing. Then we're off to my dsis with my FIL for Boxing Day lunch (the best meal of the year). Excited!

Once we've finished a cup of tea,it's over to Halfords to pick up GrumpyJr's new bike,were going to pick it up Monday but it wasn't built (to be fair,they'd been really busy) then we'll go for a bit of a bike ride,go to a nice park near us and try out out new cameras.

Once back home,it'll be a turkey sandwich,cake and a drink and laze around for the rest of the day.

Having a lazy morning then off to visit my mum in hospital. Will be attending a party this evening with family.

Its my sons birthday so presents and 🎂!!

We have no batteries and everything is shut.
There's nothing to do, we are all stuck together in our flat and I'm worried we'll kill each other by 4pm.

We'll go for a walk to blow the cobwebs out but other than that, I need inspiration!

I have 40 for lunch. I’ve RA & not feeling great so my mum & sister are coming to help cook. SILS will all help. Dc birthday family party so no choice but to crack on!

Been up building lego for ages whilst ds plays, just chilled morning, then off to in laws for family boxing day fun

DH did all the washing up yesterday 😀 so house looks fine, doing lots of laundry, then off for a run in a bit.

Boys all off to footy later, DD and I will lounge about watching tv also I am making a trifle for dinner, neighbour is coming round for that too.

in the middle I will eat my fave thing, Boxing Day sandwich with chicken and stuffing and salad mmm.

All sounds so lovely. We've decided to switch it up a bit, instead a quick shower I'm gonna go wallow in a bath and DP is going to watch one of his new films. DD is happily investigating all her new things again. Once I've had my soak I'm going to spend a cpl of hours on the floor with her playing, crafting and probably giggling a lot. I love Boxing Day because we hardly move and it just feels so relaxed x

We’re all still in our Pjs playing Nintendo switch, the house is a bomb site but I have chocolate for breakfast so I don’t care.

Off to parents in law for a buffet tea later and then back to work for me tomorrow

Play boardgames with DD and watch baby play with his new toys. Drink lots of tea. Eat cheese. Drag everyone out for a short walk. Leftovers for dinner.

I’m about to get up when I’ve finished the cup of tea DH brought me. Then I’m going help the kids put thier piles away/in thier rooms. Then put out a buffet in the kitchen. The rest of the day will be nibbling, sT bing films and playing board games etc.

We're both off work for the rest of the week for the first time we're just pottering this morning and will go for a little walk in a while. I'll watch Call The Midwife later when he goes to watch football. Then a buffet tea with some Christmas telly

I have to go out and buy a turkey and the ingredients for a turkey curry buffet.

It’s also 10am and what I really fancy is proper deep fried chips, beans and cold turkey for lunch.

I’m going to try really hard to get DS and DH our for a walk.

We got back late last might so everyone is in bed, except me. I love it when that happens.
I’m having a coffee. We ve got the in laws coming round later but I want to go for a walk with the kids when they get up and do some cleaning.
Watch some films later.

I've been up just under an hour, dd2 followed me down and dd1 is still in bed x-box-ing.

I ignored my wardrobe falling down at stupid o'clock last night when I was in bed, so will have a coffee then assess the damage there

Other than that; we'll nip to the shop for milk and drinks for Panto tonight, nibble some party food & spend the day doing not much before walking to the theatre this evening for Robin Hood. Can't wait!

Dh and I have been taking turns to go back to bed while the DC (3&6)sytematically open every toy they got and spread them around the house. DH turn almost over at which point we may consider getting our act together.

On the agenda today is a bike ride (new bikes, yay), lots of nibbly food as I'm not cooking unless someone pays me, don't step on it and possibly some tidying

Quiet morning then popping to see my friend on the way to my dads for our Xmas day with him. Looking forward to it as although we had a a nice day yesterday DH & I weren't 100% but feeling fine today. Have a lovely day everyone.

Currently having breakfast and a cup of tea she brought me, he is watching tv and I'm mnetting.

Going to have a potter about putting gifts away soon, shower and get ready for the day. We're hosting Boxing Day so will start on the food later with family arriving about 2.

Once they leave will be settling down to watch some tv and graze on leftovers.

Don't go back to work until Jan 3rd so will be out of my mind by then.

I’m in bed with a chest infection, horrendous sore throat and head cold drinking tea. DP is doing some work and DD is in bed reading (she’s off to the panto this afternoon with friends).
Lazy day today, will do a massive “leftovers” buffet later with bubble and squeek and cold cuts, pickles etc. We’re off into London tomorrow to see a show so really want to feel better.

About to have breakfast then off out with the dogs. Then a lazy day at home and I must remember to wash my work stuff for tomorrow.

off to watch the local Hunt meet for traditional meet on the common and then slip back into the pub

Off to visit other family members for Xmas no 2 (possibly detour via the sales).
