Yes, it’s a cute pet photo thread

I made it through Christmas Day with half a cold, but it has arrived with a vengeance overnight and I’m up and stuffy and coughing and bleurgh, so I would like to see fluff balls and good dogs please.

We will almost definitely be getting a dog in the spring and I’m looking for inspiration.

Please? I promise I will see that each and every individual dog is clearly the best dog.

Here is my beautiful Barry. He's old now. He enjoyed his Christmas dinner and a little walk though. He loved his new blankie - he didn't play with the toy - he used to love a new toy but doesn't really play anymore. I couldn't not but him one though. I hope he's here next Christmas

Missy, who is allowed on the sofa but not the recliners (lounge is badly laid out now due to presence of random tree in room). Mongrel combo of husky, collie, greyhound and malamute. Rubbish guard dog. Very docile but stubborn. May lick you to death. Can almost keep up with a proper greyhound (but not quite). Moults like you wouldn't believe.

We wouldn't be without her.

This is Bonnie.

She is 6 months old and not toilet trained for wee. At all.

She is terrified of dogs. Hoovers. Roller skates and cars.

She steals everything.

She ate my new slippers ONE day after I got them.

She shat in her crate this morning.

She's the best. 10/10. Much loved doggo.

This is my beautiful girl idiot over Christmas She sits waiting to be handed her pile of presents from under the tree then opens them herself 😍 Last night, while ds was drinking his hot chocolate she sat next to him and flicked her tongue out to try and nab some of the cream every time he moved the cup down from his mouth 😂😂😂

Here's my boy in his Christmas jumper.

Teal is rather his colour, don't you think?

He's just barked at nothing for 5 mins, eaten a chicken foot as a special treat (bleurgh) and is now snoring on his beanbag.

Schnauzers are just fabulous and I adore him.

Still no closer to making a decision. The rescue told us we’d best with a puppy, which means phoning every couple of days to see if they have had any brought in.
