Yes, it’s a cute pet photo thread

I made it through Christmas Day with half a cold, but it has arrived with a vengeance overnight and I’m up and stuffy and coughing and bleurgh, so I would like to see fluff balls and good dogs please.

We will almost definitely be getting a dog in the spring and I’m looking for inspiration.

Please? I promise I will see that each and every individual dog is clearly the best dog.

These are my pair. Also not allowed on the sofa 🙄 bloody lovely duo, nothing like snuggly doggy snuggles. Both soft as ever and adore their human little brother. Wouldn’t be without them

This is Daisy. She just loves to sit beside us all day if she could. She knows all her commands and her latest one is “hug”. She will then lean on your chest for a hug. She has three legs but often forgets this ( and wonders why she can’t prop her dig biscuit up with one paw)

This is poppy. We had to have her put to sleep this time last year after having her for 15 years. She had a special place in all our hearts. She was dumped on our road - pregnant and collarless and keeping her was the best thing we ever did for our family. Our nearly grown children’s memories are full of memories of her being part of family life growing up.

Hugo! He's a little Spanish puppy. He's as cute natured as he looks. Only 4 months old and doesnt nip or anything. He's even nearly house trained!

This is Charlie he is 2 and spends the majority of his day sleeping...he loves cuddles and walks as long as it's not raining. Birds are his enemy he always let's you know when one dares to fly past the window!

This is mine. A rescue who has been with me since 2008. She is 14 now, probably our last Christmas together. She has Arthritis and the beginnings of dementia. But is the best, most loving, gentle dog in the World. My absolute rock, the best friend I've ever had.

This is Annie, we love her to bits. She is perfect in every way for us, we got her as rescue 7 years ago and she fitted into our family immediately, after the first day it was like she'd been with us years and couldn't picture life without her.
