It’s flushing but not going anywhere and the bowl is full of poo and loo paper What the heck do I do?!

Fess up. Fill the washing up bowl with water chuck it down toilet.

Ask her for a bucket, wait until the water has gone down. Fill bucket with cold water, hold it high, flush chain and DUMP water in the toilet at the same time.

Then dry where it's splashed.

In in a cold sweat reading this. You need to poke round with a loo brush.

Hand in. Break it all up. Flush. Bleach hand (take off rings beforehand!!)

Is there a loo brush in there? You can try sticking it in upside down (i.e. not the brush end) and have a guddle around to move the obstruction.

You need to give it a good poke with something long ! A plastic or metal coat hanger is good if there is possibly one around.

I read MSE and stuck a whole load of bleach down it, which, surprisingly, has done naff all. But there are now loads of bubbles so you can’t see the poo! I’m still locked in the bathroom. Argh. I knew I should have said something when it was draining slowly earlier.

Is there any bleach? Put bleach on it, close lid, leave for a bit and hope for the best. Pop back to flush later.

Don’t put the bristle end of the loo brush down there ! It will get paper stuck all over it !
